That thread made about RE0 really got me thinkin, what were some of the better looking games on the N64? Here is what i can think of off the top of my head:
Sin and Punishment
Rakuga Kids
Stunt Racer 64
Donald Duck Goin Quackers
Ms. Pacman Maze Madness
Paper Mario
Resident Evil 2
Rayman 2
What do you guys think?
In my book Banjo Tooie and Conkers BFD were easily the most impressive games on the system. Huge draw distances, well designed levels, interesting characters and bright and vibrant colours. Both games also happen to be brilliant to play also! 8-)

Ogre Battle 64
Zelda: Majora's Mask (really neat effects, especially the 4th Temple)
Super Mario 64...without a doubt...
Bust-a-Move 2 <--- Very solid MVS Port of "Puzzle Bobble 2" imho
Dr. Mario 64
Resident Evil 2 <-- How did they do that? Is still beyond my comprehension...

Majora's Mask.
The Legend of Zelda games
The Banjo-Kazooie games
Those games still look good.

Sin & Punishment is about as nice looking as they come. Wonder Project J2 is probably what I would consider the best looking 2D N64 game, especially when you consider just how many animations for Josette are crammed in there.

Nobody said Perfect Dark yet? @_@

I'll say it. Perfect Dark is a damn fine looking game for the N64.

Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Tooie, Ogre Battle Saga Episode VI: Person of Lordly Caliber, Paper Mario, Merio Tennis 64, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Star Wars Episode I: Racer, and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards all looked great. I haven't played it in a LONG time, but I remember Mission Impossible looking pretty good too.

Ridge Racer 64 impressed me the first time it booted up. But otherwise, I think enormous credit has to go to Resident Evil 2. To fit that game on a cart was a miracle. And it still looks top-dollar!

Perfect Dark is the graniest game on the N64 that I can think of. I just can't play it. I keep going back to Goldeneye. And yes I have the 3D expansion pack. I really wish the stopped the aliasing on that game. The 3D pack worked great for Rogue Squadron though.

Perfect Dark really hasn't aged well, along with quite a few of the other top titles. Awful framerate, barely playable in multiplayer.
Conker's hasn't aged brilliantly either, though both Banjo games are amongst the few that still look good today.

The only addition I would make to the above would be Rayman 2. Ogre Battle is the best of what I've seen though...

What do you guys think?
You have some rather dubious choices mixed in with a few incredible-looking games.
SUPERMAN 64? Are you into fog? If so, this is one mighty FINE looking game.
Ms. Pacman looks nice, but I don't think it's a graphical showcase or anything.
Your choices of Sin & Punishment and especially Stunt Racer 64 are spot-on, though. I am amazed by S&P every time I play it (especially the arial dogfight scene) and a lot of gamers don't recognize the beauty of Stunt Racer 64... probably because it was rental-only and uncommon. It's quite gorgeous, especially in high-res. Too bad it's letter-boxed.
Raguka Kids is an odd choice... I'll have to pull that one out again.
I'll second Rayman 2 (gorgeous!) and add Turok 2. Too bad about the slowdown, though.

My vote easily goes to Turok 2. Yeah, it's got some fog and whatnot, but if you have the expansion pack and switch it over to the Hi-Res Letterbox setting in the options, it looks stellar. Too bad it's not that great of a game. Sure is pretty though.

The Superman 64 was a complete joke. I choose Rakuga Kids as it is one of the few n64 games that is 2D and the crayon animation seems to run slick. :)

I really liked the graphics in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Also, as previously mentioned, Majora's Mask had great graphics.

I thought DOOM 64 was excellent I really dont know why so many ppl rag on it :hmm: easily one of my favorite N64 titles.
IThe best looking titles on N64 would have to be Paper Mario and the (as mentioned in my other post) unreleased N64 version of RE0 I just cant beleive that Capcom accomplished what they did with the N64 hardware with that title too bad it was at the end of the N64 software cycle.
Bangioh was nice on the N64. There were not a lot of 2d titles available, but this was great, especially if you managed to let off one of those 500+ super combos :)
