I think I am going to hold off my GBA purchase until I get a closer look at this one... The controller looks kinda wierd on this one though.

If you think that's bad check out a few GBA spoecific forums like the one on GameFAQs.com or on usenet. There's probably a hundred or so new threads by people who were so excited about the announcement he/she didn't check first. It's rare to find any new post within the last 24 hours not on GBA-SP.
