ok well for starters what exactly are these? i noticed they cost more then the buttons themselves, are they useful or what, do you leave them on while you play? i dont get it hahahah im just a lil lost : ]

It's a good question, it doesn't say whether or not they are rigid. I don't really see much point unless you expect your buttons to see extreme abuse or liquid spills.
