SNES Super Scope Probelm.

I have tried everything I can think of to try to get my Super Scope working correctly again.

Here is the problem:
I am playing a game with my Super Scope for a while and all of a sudden, when I am in the middle of a game, I shoot in one spot and it shoots another spot on the other side of the screen.

I have tried replacing the batteries, cleaning the lenses, cleaning the cord to the reciever in the SNES, and even tried all three of my SNES consoles.

If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

if you have a cat check so the cord hasent been chewed on this will most likely cause a malfunction :) atleast so ive noticed :P
