If you checked the Finds thread, you will have noticed i picked these up today...
I have searched the net but cant find a single drop of info on these, not on eBay, here or elsewhere...
so i was wondering if any of you could send me some information regarding these.
From what i can make out, these gloves were used alogn with the game
(im guessing this from the "For interaction with R2R Only)
Also there is an LED comign out of each glove
i was hoping for a possible rarity/value too, as im not sure if intend to keep these...
Any information appreciated!

Most likely just some promo/advertising stuff for R2R. Eventho they might be rare I dont think they are worth THAT much, but thats just my guess.

never heard of these before
How do they actually work? (Have you even gotten them to work?) Doesn't appear to be any leads or anything. Good suggestion Nez that maybe they will work with the Samba sensor.
Where did you find these? Great find

How do you know that this is specifically a Dreamcast item?

What does the full "warning" text say?

From what I can make out it looks like it says
"For interaction with Ready 2 Rumble only. May cause injury if used on a boxing game" not sure of the last 2 words.

no it's "may cause injury if used as a boxing glove" so you're not supposed to actually box with them on.

I dont know of a addapter for the PSX/gbc/N64 that allows it to pick up position signals from a sensor. The only one that I know of is the Maracas. Granted I dont know too much about the UK sceen or even the Playstation but I pretty damn shure DC was the only one with this ability.

I can only imagine the fun you could have if they are compatible with the Samba sensors. Fists of fury away!

That, if I recall correctly, was a different sort of controller where you stood in an octagon type thing and moved your legs around to do stuff. I have seen a Genesis version of it (named the same thing, by Thrustmaster) that someone hooked up to a 2600, which really made playing Frogger interesting when you had to hop around to do it.
Never saw these controllers before though.

The Genesis one was called the Activator.
It sucked. Surprisingly, it was first-party.
The Thrustmaster one is called the Figthing Arena
I think I owned one for about 2 days before returning it :\

I was thinking maybe there was some odd cross-promotional thing going on between Midway and Thrustmaster. You know, put the gloves on while inside the Activator for a more realistic feel or something. :/
A very big longshot, but I tried. LOL
