It guides as a $10 R2. That really doesnt matter. Its more a question of do YOU think you got a deal on it, considering you were the one plunking down the money for it (i'd have to venture yes). Enjoying your game is really what matters.

^^ That is for the complete one, this one is still sealed.

So? if that's worth an extra $9.99 to you then you got a good deal. I personally don't care about sealed because i play the games i buy (at least most of them :D )
Having a complete game is important to me, having it sealed is not (since the first thing i do is open the damn game anyway)

Cheers,
Raymond

I'd say it's a good deal depending on which version of the game you end up getting.

If it's the original Konami Hardcase version.. then yeah, not too bad.

However, if it's the cardboard cover Majesco rerelease then I'd say you paid too much.

Either way though, if you're happy with it you're happy. Have fun with it. It's a good game.

I'll bet that this is the Majesco re-release. These could be had at TRU for $5 for quite some time a few years back. And I think that you did not get a good deal. Sorry.

Does the re-release still say Konami on the front?

I also go with the line of thinking that if you think you got a good deal then you did. Be happy with your game and how it fits into your collection. If you collect sealed games and you needed this for your collection then yes it is a great deal, one piece closer to being complete. If you collect games to play then you just picked up a great game to play!

So yeah, if you think you got a good deal, then you did. It really doesn't matter what a bunch of other fans think about it on a forum.

You do realize that it was a stock photo, right? Anyway I would say you got a good deal if you paid what you wanted for the game you wanted.

I bought one and it was cardboard. I think it is common to find these sealed, but I was happy with my purchase. Paid the same price as you!

Indeed it does. It pretty much just looks like the original release but with a black and white manual, a cardboard box, and the actual cart seems cheaper.

Though now that I think of it some more, I don't think there was ever a hardcase version of Bloodlines ever released in america. That doesn't mean it couldn't still be the rerelease.

I'm 95% sure that there was no rerelease of this game in the U.S. I always remember seeing the same TRU special since the day it came out.

Red cardboard box, B&W instructions, average art, fuzzy pictures. VERY typicle of late release Genesis titles.

Well you're 100% wrong because I own the re-release version and it says Majesco right on it. :P

I meant for a Konami branded hard cased one, that is what I meant. I've never seen one. Testament89 does the Majesco rerelease look different from the Konami one besides the branding?

The easy way to tell the Majesco re-release carts is that they have cheaper labels that have a dull surface and instead of "Made in Japan" or "Assembled in the USA" the back of the cart will have "Made in Mexico".

Yes there is a clamshell Castlevania as I have seen quite a few at various game stores.
