0.99 DC/SNES/Genesis/NES ?!??!

Is that effective as of the 31st?!

I'm gonna take a couple of huge bags up there. I need a couple hundred NES games! w00t!

EDIT: Shit. Can't find a Gamerush, thought this was regarding Gamecrazy. Weaksauce.

Bags won't be necessary. GameRush has been selling non-current gen games for $0.99 for awhie now. It would be slim pickings if there was a GameRush near you.

just a question, do any of your blockbusters sell preowned PSP games yet? mine has them for rental, just wondering how long it takes for them to put it out on preowned.

Dammit, I hate the fact that there are no gamerushes around here! Though...the blockbusters around here DO sell used games. Is the deal effective in all blockbusters, or just ones with gamerushes?

BIG HEADS UP:

They can and will revoke these offers at their own whim. My friend took advantage of this royally (turning 3 old ps2 games into 18 newer release high-trade-in credit games), only to find out upon an subsequent visit that the Gamerush stores in my area have revoked all trade-in offers and such.

This is perpetual, though you'll be hard pressed to find anything worthwhile now (this started over 2 months ago)

Awesome. I've been waiting for Prime 2 and StarFox to drop. Time to add some more Cube titles to my collection. :D
Maybe I'll drop by tonight and hide a copy behind some of the crap Nickelodeon games they seem to have an abundance of.

Good deal on Star Fox:Assault and Metroid Prime 2!

The classic 99 cent deal how been going on for a LONG time. I managed to get a complete and mint Gunstar Heroes and a Super Punch-Out amoung other things with the deal one month after it was in affect. Of course I lucked out and found a very obscure store that was in a town with a population of under 20k. Some hot manager gave me a free T-shirt there too. :) So you might luck out in the retro deal if you do not live in heavily populated area.

My Gamerush stopped carrying retro titles completely... they don't even have Dreamcast and N64 stuff anymore! I just went in one day and *poof* gone! I asked a clerk and he said they moved them all out to a different store. Blark.

In the same vein of this deal, I just got back from my Gamerush (to make sure they had plenty of StarFox Assaults for Tuesday :D ) and I found a flier advertising select games for $9.99 and less. A good portion were sports titles and GB videos, but there were some gems, such as Armed and Dangerous, Viewtiful Joe 1, Castlevania and Metal Arms. I got F-Zero GP Legend. I scanned the list and put it up here (http://www.rydia.net/joshnickerson/dp/bbdeal.jpg)
The deal ends on Sunday, so better get out there.
One last note, they actually had to change the price manually for my game, so you might be out of luck if they don't have any fliers on hand.

I'm trading in Ghost Recon and the Midway Arcade Treasures 2 that I got from Circuit City for $0.01 and pre-ordering San Andreas for Xbox. Should only end up costing me $20.

Gotta love Gamerush.

I went to my local Gamerush yesterday to get FF 1 & 2. They had an end-cap with a 50% off sign. Not all the games listed above were on the end-cap and I had to point out the sign when I was rung up, so hopefully other stores are more organized than mine.

Of note, though, Metroid Classic (and maybe other classic series games) was $15, which would make it $7.50 now. Pretty good if you've been complaining about the high prices of the classic series.

At least yours had them separate from the other games. The games on that list were still mixed in with the regular games. It took me 15 minutes of guiding the clerk at my GR to finally get him to realize I wasn't trying to screw with him.
