So I was looking on line for some wireless Dreamcast controllers and come apon these. http://www.powerbuster.com/cart.php?session_id=1117300635427&item=8 They seem to be a bit spendy but they are the only ones I can find. Has anyone else seen these or maybe bought them? Also is there any place else to find wireless controllers for the dreamcast?

I have not seen those before. I've been on the lookout for good DC wireless controllers. I'd like to integrate my DC into my projection system (make use of that VGA), but I would really need wireless controllers for multiplayer. Those are too pricey if you ask me, although I'd love to try them out. Let us know if you decide to splurge.

Seems too high to me for unknown 3rd party stuff.

If you must have wireless conrolers, just get a ps controller converter and use some psx wireless controllers.

Hmm, I hadn't considered that. I think I may have tried something like that before with my PC (and it didn't work). I will have to experiment today. I don't have any wireless PSX controllers (actually I have a wireless PSX joystick but that's another story), I'll have to see if my PS2 controllers will work.

I tried it today with an Innovation Dream Connection 2 and two different wireless PS2 controllers. My expensive Logitech wireless pad would not work at all. My cheapo Hori pad worked great with Virtua Tennis, but not very well with Propeller Arena. I also found that the Hori controller would not work unless it was swapped with a wired PS2 pad after boot up.

In order to reach my goal of four player wireless, here's what I'd have to do:

-find 3 more Dream Connections
-find 2 more wireless Hori pads
-have 4 wired PS2 controllers plugged in during boot up, then swap them with Hori receivers

Too much trouble, especially considering the analog and shoulder button issues I had with Propeller Arena.

I don't have a regular PS1 wireless controller to test with, but I don't know if a good one was ever made. It's possible...I have Docs wireless controllers for the 3DO that work perfectly. Still, I doubt the combination of a controller converter and an old PS1 wireless pad would work well enough to be worth the trouble, especially for multiplayer.

EDIT: I forgot to mention...I did hook my DC up to my projector through the VGA box. If you think DC VGA looks cool on a 15 inch monitor, you will definitely appreciate the huge projected image. It puts PS2 and Gamecube S-video to shame...it's like having a new system! I think when my relatives come over for July 4th I'll tell them I managed to get an early build of the new X-box and this is it. ;)
