I have a ton of RPG's that I either played halfway through and never beat or hardly played at all, help me decide which to play through next and beat.

Shadow hearts covenant, most definitely, though only if you have played through the original already. They're so intertwined in story that it's essential that you play them in order.
Otherwise, try Grandia 2. I just beat it recently, and loved it to death.

I just started Wild Arms 3 last night, but when I found out that I had to play through every character's prologue separately before I started the actual story itself, I turned it off...

I recommend Star Ocean: The Second Story. :)

For some reason, I love dark cloud 2.

From that list I'd go with Kingdom Hearts. It's something different and you might actually enjoy Disney characters kicking ass. (Actually I never finished it but it is fun).

Out of that list, my favorite RPG was Kingdom Hearts.
You can try more then one game....I usually play two or three RPG's at once, and flip between them so I don't get burned out on one game. Just give any game that you try about 3-5 hours of gaming time before saying 'meh' and tossing it to the side. Some of those games on your list TAKE that long to get into.

Was going to say the exact same thing.
If you can get Grandia 2 for the DC play that version instead.

Star Ocean: The Second Story! There's plenty of stuff within the game to keep you busy for a long time.

I didn't see Jade Empire on there as an option so I couldn't vote. :D

I second that! Definitely my favorite RPG for the Playstation, and that system has the most great RPGs, I'd say.
Honestly, the skill system and item creation alone is enough to ruin all other RPGs for you. Enjoy!
I see that Kingdom Hearts is winning, and it's good, but play this first so you don't pass it up entirely.

Oddly enough, I nearly did this when I finished SMT:Nocturne a few days ago. I ended up just picking Growlanser Generations off the shelf and having at it. :)
I voted FFX-2, assuming that you played (and enjoyed) FFX, then it's good to have some closure.
Agree with above comments - find yourself the DC version of Grandia II... and do play that. It's a great game.

Xenogears is the best RPG ever created.
You'll likely end up going through it twice to get the storyline again, I certainly did. If you haven't played it, it should definitely be your first priority.

Definitly play either Kingdom Hearts or Xenogears. You won't be disappointed by either.

No computer RPG? Too bad, I would have said Neverwinter Nights...
From the list, I agree with the others who've said Kingdom Hearts.

Well lastnight I decided to boot up grandia II on ps2 (I dont have the DC version). Its a fairly simple RPG, but the battle system was fun enough to make me play it for 5 hours straight yesterday. I am now 8 hours in and am starting to get a little burnt out.
This game LAGS, and normaly lag does not bother me, but when it takes a npc forever to say one line you know you are in for a long conversation. Characters often move extremely slow as well. This hurts the games pacing severely! I wish I had the DC version because building up my special attacks is especialy fun.
I am trying my best to get into it, which I am but I cannot see myself playing it all the way through, especialy if it is nothing but dungeon after dungeon, with a town after everyone, I guess I am more into games like FF where there is alot of exploring, and not like games like DC's Evolution.
As for kingdom hearts, I had played the game, and got pretty far as well, I beat a few worlds, and I think I left off on tarzan (I know you can choose which worlds you want to go to so its not linear)
And as for xenogears I had played that game many years ago, I got pretty far but there was a point in the game where you enter a vilage and go into sewers and fight some sewer monster boss or something, I simply could not beat him so I quit. If anyone could tell me how far into the game I was it would be great :)
And for star ocean I had always played that game years ago, but I always found myself starting over from the start of the game, I probably never made it more than 5 hours into the game, it was great though I think I will give it another go.

I strangely have never played arcadia. Should I buy the GC port? or DC original?

Xenogears gets my vote. Awesome story and game play, just make sure you're prepared to do a lot of reading.

Well, it had some changes to the Cube version. Hmm... Good question. I think you should get the DC if you want to play the "original" but that's only me. I've only played the GC port which was awesome. Gotta finish the last boss! Also, play ToS and the shining force series! :D

Although I usually recommend originals, I think the GC version has been tweaked to play a little better than the original - add that to the extra content, and I would vote for the GC version.
Second vote to get ToS.

Here is a list of the changes to the GC version of Skies of Arcadia (stolen!):
New Content
• Wanted character list - Hunt down and turn in fugitives for rewards.
• Moonfish Quest - Find and capture Moonfish for rewards.
• Piastol Quest - Track down a bounty hunter who is out for your head.
• Extended Backstory - Additions to the story tell of events that happened long before the game takes place.
• New Discoveries - Many new discoveries have been added to the game for you to find.
• New 'Ultimate Weapon' for Vyse, the Sky Fang.
• New Swashbuckler ratings for Vyse to achieve.
• Wanted character list - Hunt down and turn in fugitives for rewards.
Changes
• Updated Hi-Res models for your main party. Nothing else seems updated.
• Some audio effects have been changed or reworked.
• Many music tracks have been changed. Most sound considerably worse than the Dreamcast version.
• Texture Resolution has been reduced slightly, and bilinear filtering threshold appears to be closer to the camera, resulting in blurrier textures.
• Many semitransparent textures, such as clouds, seem fairly glitchy, and look very rough compared to the Dreamcast.
• Loading times are faster, and framerate is more consistant. However, SoAL seems to run quite slow when compared to other Gamecube games. Playing SoAL after other games like Metroid Prime make it look like it is running at half the speed. Strange.
• Some weapon stats have been changed.
• Pinta's Quest minigame has been removed.
• Swashbuckler system changed some. "Vyse the Legend" requires a near-perfect game.
• Random battle frequency appears to have been reduced. Exact numbers are unknown.
• Game now fits on a single disk. (Maybe due to texture and audio compression?)
• Dreamcast version downloadable addons are now available.
• When searching for Chams, Cupil's chirps are played through the TV, the controller vibrates, and a Cupil icon appears on-screen with an arrow pointing into his mouth.

based on that information it seems like each version has its ups and downs, but I think I will go with the GC version, that way I do not haveto track down the DC version on ebay.

Ahaha! You said that SoA website LOL Hmm.. Interesting to know that a lot of the new stuff wasn't in the original... Btw, the stupid ESRB made SEGA to censor some of the stuff in the game. For example, there's this drink most of the pirates in Arcadia use to drink (Ioqua, kind of a grape juice, in the U.S. version), and yes, they get drunk of it. Anyways, guess what it is in the JAP version... Yup, you guessed it. It's Liqour! Damn! They ruined some of the game with censoring other parts as well!

Oh yeah, I suggested ToS because I only started playing it and it's pretty good. It's not like the Final Fantasy RPG, but a more linear one. You do the attack instead of choosing to attack/use magic/use item, etc. My mission is to finish the game in 2 weeks since I've finished school and have nothing else to do and because I'm going abroad without the cube. So there, my second choice :D
