I am looking to buy a NEO GEO CD system on eBay, almost all of them are japanese system. I understand that Neo Geo is region free which mean I can play U.S. games on JP system. My question is, what language would the system display playing US game on JP system??? I appriciate any reply. Thanks you

He said Neo Geo CD. We all know about the cartridge system since the question gets asked every other week ;O
As for CD...well, just head over to Neo-Geo.com and look it up in the FAQ.

Thanks, I just read the FAQS on neogeo website. You're right. System tells the game what language to play. That sucks for me. I was hoping to get a neo geo cd z system now I am having second thoughts.

And...why would it suck to have Japanese region? I'm pretty sure the Japanese region benefits/effects on the NGCD are the same as for the cartridge console - blood and bouncy. The text doesn't matter, and I don't believe the Samurai Spirits RPG has an English text mode built in.
