I have been looking at arcade cabinets, and i really do not like the boxy shape of most of them. I like the astro-city cabinet, it seems a little less monolithic.
Are there other cabinets that are similar to the astro-city type?

Many. That's a Japanese Candy Cabinet, of which there are many designs. Right now, I can think of:
Aero City
Windy
Capcom Impress
Neo Geo (several models)
Madonna, I think
Egret
And I know there are others. Wonderful cabs - just often pretty expensive outside of Japan, and usually hard to find outside of the west coast in the US.

Thanks ninja
I found a site a few days ago with a bunch of the different sega made candy cabinets. The astro city cabinet is still looking like the type I would want to get for personal use.
It seems to be under 5' tall, easily movable and configurable as well as the rotating monitor.
I began to drool over the super megalo, that thing is frigging huge.
What I am planning to do is get a few astro city cabs, at least 4, and configure the cabinets so each player gets his or her station, single controls and monitor.

I got my Capcom Impress yesterday, what a cool little cab. I moved it into the basement with the help of one other person, and it was a breeze. Afterwards we tried moving my MK2 in the basement. It didn't happen (I didn't want to kill or seriously injure myself.)
Now I'm thinking about selling the MK2, and getting a Neo candy cab. I think those kind of cabs will be the only ones I own. Good stuff.
I'll have pics and such once I clean it up.
