This is the last of these I have, I'm selling my whole LA collection piece by piece. This one is very nice, the only complete TG modules I've ever seen are the ones I have had. The box is quite nice, some shelf wear, but no major crushing or damage. The styrofoam packing and bags are there, as are the instructions and warranty card. The controller still has the protective plastic film on it (hard to tell from the pic). The logo on the module faceplace is fine, the face is flawless, it's the flash that washed it out. Pics can be found here (http://www.gis.net/~tower/TGModule/).

The last one of these I sold, which was on Ebay, went for over $400. I'll take $325 + shipping for this one, $330 if paid via Paypal.

Last bump before ebay.

I've received several messages notifying me that guide price for this is $200. Trust me, I've turned a few over and they NEVER go less than $300 complete.

Been kicking myself for two weeks over not having done it anyway, that was just the straw that actually broke the back. One of those "eh, I'll do it tomorrow" things.

Damnit, I want this soooo badly. I've blow a ton of cash on games this past couple of months though and really can't afford it right now though.

I'm going to try to raise at least a couple hundred bucks for this in the next couple of days. If I can do it by Friday, I'll definitely buy it.

chadtower, would you consider a trade+cash for this? If so, please check my list and let me know if you see anything.

I don't see a way to view a tradelist at that url.

I don't see a way to view a tradelist at that url.

Just click on it and scroll down. Those are all the games I have available for trade (7 pages worth).

Here, I'll make it even easier for you:

I took a look. There's actually very little I'm looking for at the moment, as I need cash and my focus for the time being is pinball.

Price guide says 200 dollars for complete pac-n10? Forget it! You sell it easily on ebay for 300 dollars (or more)

Sometimes, the DP rarity guides looks very different than reality

Thanks.

You might also consider that prices fluctuate faster in a rabid eBay market than they do in real life and that there is a thread devoted to pointing out such price discrepancies so we can avoid having these kinds of comments appear where our editors aren't always going to see them.

In his defense on this particular item, this isn't a price fluctuation. I don't believe they have ever been $200.

I got mine for $175 boxed in 2001 when we went on a NYC-wide hunt for Laseractive items. In that same hunt I bought dozens of sealed titles from a website that was closing them out, $5 each. They go for $30-$75 now.

Remember that our guide uses eBay as just one source. On the opposite end of the spectrum are "finds" where you're not afraid to walk into the dankest building or make cold calls to strangers.

Fair enough. The only data I have are the four I've bought and sold in the past few years. Not one of them was anywhere near $200. This really is the problem with a price guide of any nature, a lot of people use it as a bible and that's just not how the free market works. It's not an issue with the DP guide itself, more of any price guide. I don't think enough people take the guide part for what it is supposed to be.
