Ok a few questions about this -

1. What's the major differences? I loved A Wonderful Life, and I regret selling it. I know it's based on a girl, that's not an issue to me, anything else though?

2. Is is compatible only with More Friends of Mineral Town (GBA), or can it still connect up to the the original Friends of Mineral Town too?

3. What's it going to launch at? I'm hoping $19.99?

Thanks to who ever helps.

Its $29.99. From the screenshots I have seen (which are very few and far between) it looks to be in exactly the same town as the first iteration, just with the roles switched. Again from what I've read about it, I believe it only works with "more friends of mineral town," but I could be wrong. A preorder snags you a free stuffed dog...

I dunno if I want it or not. The freebie is tempting, but I played the original to death, and if its MORE of the same, I doubt I'd play it for more than a couple of hours. If they mix up the towns and people, I may bite.

It's going to be the same town, you're just going to play as a female. That's how Harvest Moon for girls worked on the PSX.

I've already preordered my copy. I need the dog for my plushie collection. :-P

That's disappointing. I thought it was going to be a new game. I may get it anyway, but 30 bucks is a bit of a rip-off for the same game. On the other hand, my collection needs little sideline doodads like the plush doggie. Is it the pointy or floppy eared one?

There's still a new title coming out for the DS, right?

$30 for the same game that retails for $20 but with a male role? Screw that Natsume, I'll just go buy a used copy of the original for $10.

Thanks for the help though guys.

I wonder if I've been looking forward to this release because I'm a girl or just a whore for Harvest Moon?

Cause I thought the idea of playing a chick and hitting on guys for a change sounded pretty niffty.

And it's not as if the Harvest Moon games weren't pretty much all rehashes anyway.

Are there any harvest moon games that allow same-sex marriages out of curiosity?

I had a friend who used to talk to, give gifts, ask to dance, and propose to the mayor's wife. I believe my girlfriend also tried to hit on girls in one of the "for girls" gameboy games. Hell if they wanna be accurate I suppose you should be able to just "marry" one of your animals...ahem.
