Hi,

I'm in the middle of a trade right now. But, I'm having a problem. I sent my end out and according to delivery confirmation, it was delivered on Friday. It is now Wednesday and 3 emails later, I have yet to receive a response as to when I'm getting my items. I'm supposed to receive a Sega Genesis/CD/32X package with some games including a 32X CD Night Trap for some of my old NES and INTV games with some Game Gear games and N64 games. Over $160 worth of merchandise and I'm afraid that I will never receive a response. I've been ripped off 3 times already in 2 months. I really don't need this right now. I want to know, have any of you dealt with these people?

Looks to me like the sellers aren't ripping you off, someone in your neighborhood is jacking your mailbox.

Check your local post office, they may have it, otherwise...if the delivery confirmation says that it was delivered and they don't have it, someones stole your mail.

It happens, I've had it happen with a 700.00 Car Stereo once, stupid fuckers signed for it via UPS, opened it, gave it away, and didn't realize they did any wrong when we showed up demanding the package. We got it back though.

Also happened when a package of mine was delivered to the wrong address, they opened it, shoved it in their closet and their son told my brother about it 2 years later. O_O Got that back too.

The problem is is that he actually listed some of my things on his site.

If this is the 4th time you've been ripped off in 2 months and you're confident it's not that people are stealing your mail, I'd say you beter learn how to find reputable people to trade with. It's not hard to get some references and confirm people have made good on trades in the past. It's not foolproof, but it'll sure help.

If they delivered it to the wrong address and something happens to it, shouldn't you be able to make a shipping insurance claim? (assuming you got insurance on it).

Sounds like mail theft to me though, delivery confirmation doth not lie, at least not multiple times in a row like that.

I made a trade with Vintage Fun World around two months ago. It took them a little bit (around three weeks I think) to get my stuff sent to me, but they did send it and for the most part it was as listed on the site, except for one beat mangled choplifter box). Anyway I did have a successful trade with them. It'll probably take you about a month to get your stuff but you should get it.

Is it just me, or did [almost] everyone that replied to this thread misread the initial post? He says that his end has been delivered, not the end of the person whom he is trading with. In other words, he knows the other guy received his stuff, and he just wants to know if he is still going to get his stuff since he has not received any replies to his e-mails. ;)

In matters such as these, I usually wait it out a little...although I do depend on frequent contact through e-mail. I hope that they will reply to your e-mails...if not, try and get ahold of a phone number to reach them at and give them a call. ;)

I think you guys are misunderstanding. The delivery confirmation said the stuff he SENT was delivered. Not the stuff he is suposed to get back. This coupled with the no responses to the emails is a bad sign. Am I just misreading this?

Johnny,

I hope everything ends up working out in the end. I actually just received an order from Vintage Fun World about a month ago. It went perfectly. I ordered some Sega CD games from them (Sol Feace, Vay, Space Adventure, and Masked Rider) and they all came as described within a few days. I sent them my order via e-mail, they got back to me the next day and sent the order out, simple as that. So I've dealt with them just once but everything was fine.

Hope things turn out better!
