I would've said no but i say yes for 2 reasons.
1. A man can dream can't he? i love Duke and i desperately want it to be released. I won't give up hope yet.
2. Prey has been brought back from the ashes, there's a chance duke will come to life as well.

Duke Nukem is pretty much dead.
Serious Sam has already taken his place in my heart. Duke let me down. Sam, you the man now, dog!

Let's just put it this way: Richard Donner will not only be able to re-edit Superman II to his liking before DNF is released, but he'll be able to shoot whatever he was prevented from finishing before the Salkinds fired him.
I bloody well know that Chris Reeve is dead, OK?

I think it could come out eventually, probably when everybody least expects it.

No, it will not come out. If it does it will not be called Duke Nukem Forever. This has become vaporware. What engine are they using now? Everytime that you would think they have something to show another company has a new development engine to produce the games on and then duke disappears again. How are they going to make it unique? There are soooo many fps games that have a character like Duke minus the coments. I've given up on this game a long while ago.

this year? no.
next year? probably.
INCIDENTLY!
heres an interesting piece of news, there was a mod squad (heheh that soudns cool) that was turning the first episode of duke nukem 3d into a HL2 mod using source. 3d realms shut them down. this kinda leads me to believe theyll be done soon and dont want to compete with essentially their own game.
i do wish theyd adapt source engine, i dont have much faith in the unreal one.

I'm doubting that the game will ever be released.

I will believe its released, 20 minutes after being aproached by 4 lost horseman on pale horses needing directions to the local apocalypse. Besides that, I never see it coming.
Right after the new 3DO is realeased, I CAN'T WAIT!

I still hear something about it once in a great moon, but I don't have any hope for it. it's a lost cause.
