Your Favorite Sonic Game?

I was wondering what everybody's favorite sonic game is.

My personal faorite is Sonic CD, as it's a more deeper game then the original and doesn't add other crappy extra options. Also I loved the idea behind Sonic and Knuckles for it's option to add functions to Sonic 2 ad Sonic 3., but it's nowhere the fun I had with Sonic CD.

Also I realy loved Sonic for NGPC as it's a classic style Sonic for a handheld.

Sonic the Hedgehog 1 is definently my favorite sonic game, although i love all the sonic games, sonic 1 is the first game i played on genesis(came with the 6-pac) and its one of my favorite games of all time

I played through and beat Sonic 1 the first time I ever got to play with it, and I found it far inferior to Super Mario 3 because of that. I tried most of the rest of the series, but it was mostly ignored until I discovered Sonic Pocket for the NGPC. After that, I started replaying all of the Sonic games, and finally sat down and tried (and beat) Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Both were excellent games.

I would suggest adding Sonic Heroes and Sonic Pocket to the list. I would be tempted to vote for Sonic Pocket for sure...
