Has anyone ever bought from http://www.success-hk.com before?! I want something they have, but don't know if I should order.

Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna pick up a Gameking II system from them with all 13 games for my collection.

They make two or three versions of the system. One looks like a Gameboy Advance, the one I am getting looks like a PSP.

The system sucks, but I want it anyway. It's got a grayscale screen better than a game dot com unit, but not as nice as a Gameboy. Supposedly the sound is really good on it, though.

Also recommend them. I bought my gba + 256 cart from there (over $200) and they were quick with their e-mails and shipping. Although it did take awhile since it was from like Tawian or something. Packaging of the items was also good.

If you get it, please post some pictures and impressions of the system. I want one too, but not if it's just a regular GameKing in a new shell.
I ordered my GameKing from Success-HK without problems. But they have really insane shipping rates...

I agree with all of the others here. I bought a Wonderswan Color with 2 games from them, for only $36 ($51 after shipping, but it was EMS).

If you leave a straightforward order with them then thing will probably go smoothly as the others here have suggested, but anything requiring communcation with Success-HK is a nightmare. I ordered a VGA adapter for my PS2 from them and ended up wasting a lot of time due to bad communication.

First of all, the adapter came in two models, PAL and NTSC and they didn't mention on the website that they didn't have the PAL version in stock, but it took a couple of days from when I placed my order until they emailed me about it. I had a modded PS2 though, so I was pretty sure that I shouldn't encounter any issues so I said fine, my PS2 should have no issues with it, so change my order to NTSC then. A week passed and I thought I should be getting the package anyday now, then I got another email where they basically asked me if I'm sure that I wanted the NTSC version and I replied YES, send me the stuff I ordered already... and it finally arrived 10 days or so later. Another issue was that the person who was writing to me wrote in really broken English and everytime I wrote them back I didn't really feel sure that they would understand me.

However, this incident was nearly two years ago, so hopefully they have replaced a few staff members and gotten better at providing fast responses that most other online retailers don't seem to have trouble with.

Are there only 2 or 3 versions? I think i've seen at least 4 in the stores here. I'll have to look again! They are more or less ubiquitous here, especially in the cheaper stores.

Thought there's more than 13 games, too -- but I don't collect for that at all so i don't know for sure. But it at least seems like there's more games than that! Maybe this weekend i'll take a stroll through the stores and take a survey....
