Flack's little gaming trip back in January (link (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50760&highlight=store+trip)) inspired me to make a similar trip and take photos along the way.
The name of the store in question is "BoulderDash". Promising name but the location seemed to be a little remote (link (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=1ad48022-6d69-461f-9476-953a547db41e)). Despite the remoteness of the store I decided to go and one of my friends wanted to come along.
Here's a picture of me and my friend just before we left the house. My friend's name is Mr. Flibble.

Here's a shot of where the store is roughly located. As you can tell, the store is indeed quite remote. The website mentioned it was on a hill. I didn't realize how big the hill really was.

After thirty minutes of strenious hiking and about 500 feet of altitiude later, Mr. Flibble was very tired and demanded a rest. I...however...wasn't tired...**gasp**...at all...**pant**...but I agreed to Mr. Flibble's request (I didn't want to make Mr. Flibble very cross). Here's a picture of Mr. Flibble while we were resting.

After another twenty minutes of hiking we came across a fork in the road and we had to decide which way to go.

Here's a shot of Mr. Flibble with my GPS as he tries to figure out which route to take (we decided to take the road on the right).

At last we reach the store. Here's a shot of the store..I guess. At least that's what the GPS tells us. As you can tell, Mr. Flibble looks a little confused. That's because the store looks closed.

After some searching we decided that the store must be closed. The only thing we found in the store is this beer can.

I was bummed because I was hoping for a good selection. With a name like BoulderDash, I figured it'll have a great selection. I even brought a couple carts for trade:

Here's Mr. Flibble looking over the beer can. There was some writing on the beer can and we were hoping it would have instructions for the stores new location. Alas, no such luck. I was getting a little nervous because, as you can tell from his expression, Mr. Flibble was getting very cross.

Just as we were about to leave this deer and her two friends approached the store. I had to tell them that the store was closed. They looked very dissappointed as they slowly left.

Well, the trip was a bust but at least the view from the store was excellent!
