I just bought a copy of Phantasy Star II for genesis at $25 with box and manual and map (no hint book). Shipped.

Did I get my money's worth?

I was actually wanting to hear people's opinions on the game, not on the packing. I collect dreamcast, but Im interested in PLAYING genesis =)

Then why did you specifically ask about it's value?

There was another PS2 thread recently that should answer any questions about the gameplay.

Oh the game... eh... maybe it's just me but every time I try to get into PS2 I get around to the second city and lose intrest. You die way too often in the begining of the game and it's just aggrevating to get your bearings.

A game is just worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That's all I can say. Yes some crappy games I wstill will pay big bucks for as I like them to be in my collection, but the price someone is willing to pay for a certain game is just his choice.

Why with all the people buying things, then immediately asking how much they're worth? You're buying a game, a toy, in the end, not an investment for the future.

You overpaid for it a bit. But it is worth it IF youre going to play the game, instead of getting it ONLY for collecting purposes...

It's really up to you. If you think you paid wha tit was worth to colleec tor play it, or both, then its a value to you.
