I was just reading the Killzone topic and I was thinking of a controller I saw at Gamestop awhile ago. It was billed as a FPS controller. It was green and had pistol grip handles and some kind of weird LCD screen in the middle. I'm wondering (as a huge FPS fan): did anyone purchase this and is it worth tracking down? Thanks in advance!

Yes I have one of those , I currently use it with doom 3 and it rocks .

You still might want to try and use one before you buy if you have really large or small hands.

I've got one for both PS2 and Xbox. I think they're great.

Damnit! I knew they were going to be good! Are they hard to track down? I checked in a couple of Gamestops and they said they haven't carried them in awhile.

Sorry, one last question: WHAT THE HELL IS THE NAME OF THIS CONTROLLER?

The only problem I have with my XBox version is that sometimes if I turn the console on with the FPS plugged in already, the game won't load. I have to unplug the cord, turn on the console, then plug it back it in with no problems.

I had one for a few months and didn't really care for it at all. It was just too much adjustment after being used to the regular S controller. The nicest thing about it (I thought) was that for a game like Halo, the melee buttons were more easily accessible without shifting your fingers about all odd. Not bad, but it could have been better. Also, the buttons felt a little mushy to me and the sticks were a little loose. Just my 2 cents.

I just saw one yesterday, PS2 I think, that I could try picking up if anyone needs it. I think it was $9.99, but I'm not sure.
