Cool. What exactly is the difference between Lode Runner and Lode Runner's Rescue?

I have ABSOLUTELY no clue :) I don't have an 8-Bit system. Just got these from a guy to offer up to the group.

Yep, it's all for trade/sale, but RJ and congobongo get first shot cause they asked first ;) Whatever they don't want is up for grabs, first come first serve.

<Raises Hand>

The difference is pretty major - the latter game has nothing to do with the Lode Runner games you're thining of (can't remember who made LRR it but it wasn't Broderbund).

LRR is similar to Crystal Castles - except that the levels provide a bit more of a puzzle challenge to them (i.e. in one level you have to jump in the water and use the currents to get to an island). Pretty decent game actually. Not sure how they got away with theiving the name like that though.

BTW: If you still have Montezeuma's Revenge or Great American... PM me.

"Suspended" is an infocom game, I think all text as were most of their titles. The original box had a 3D mask on the front.

In LRR you play as "Lode Runner's" daughter/neice/female relative.

@maxlords- did you get my PM?

PMs sent all around (not PMS!)!

OH, I remember LRR now! Ugh, I hated that game.

I actually enjoyed it. Maybe I was wrong about Broderbund not making it though if it's supposed to be his offspring. Any idea RJ?

about halfway down. Broderbund it is! :D

Well done! Don't know why I didn't think it was a Broderbund game.

To be honest I never knew the hero was actually a heroine. Or at least I find this somewhat stunning while at work.

What I want to know is this: did you read the Hacker Review? I've gone through that games several times, but not with a printer online. Does *anybody* know what happens?

He he! She has to eat "magic mushrooms" for running and jumping power LOL

By the way...all Atari 8-Bit disks I have have been claimed already! Thanks for all the interest gang!
