Good morning at a big neighborhood rummage. Along with some toys for the girls and house stuff for the wife, I managed to score some goodies for my self:

Mint Virtual Boy in box for $5! Looks like it had rarely if ever been played with...only game it came with was golf, but I'm not complaining :D . Time to finally start that head-mounted VB project!

Remote (by wire) R2-D2 $1. This one had the middle leg my other one was missing.

And I stopped by Blockbuster to again take advantage of their current trade-in deal...Xbox Star Wars Battlefront, like new, effectively $10.

My son and I got up at 5:45 am and hit the road. First stop was a rinky dink flea market being held in a parking lot.

I figured the day would be a total wash when my first score is freaking Superman 64. :(

I think overpaid a bit on Gekido, but I really wanted it so it's all good. :) I've got to remember to check out that Mr. Cheapo place more often. They didn't have much, but what they did have was extremely cheap. The Genesis games were all marked .99, SNES & NES were all $1.99, DC/PS1 were all $2.99, and PS2/XBOX/GCN were all $9.99. I guess they call it Mr. Cheapo for a reason! :D

My dads into these Air Soft Guns and Rifles..they are totally legal as they only shoot plastic BBs(hard though)..these air soft guns are heavy,work realistically and are not toys..
All you need to buy them is be over 18...several vendors sell them at the flea market..(and in stores)
At the Flea Market this one was Advertised as the Lara Croft Tomb Raider Gun so that caught my eye.
My dad picked me one up and one for himself($40.00 Each) then he spend $200.00 on a Mach 10 Air Soft Gun and some misc stuff to go with them..The Mach 10 is Gas operated and is sooo damn cool..
We spent the who afternoon shooting most of his as he has plenty..All kinds..My favorite is his M4 Rifles.
He has a mini target range set up in his apartment.

Got an pleasant suprise at the local Blockbuster. They were having a 50% off sale on selected NEW (!) Nintendo GC and GBA games.

Picked up:
Pikmin 2 (GC)--- $22.50, been wanting this one for a while now
Donkey Kong Country 2 (GBA)--- $15.00
Mario Pinball Land (GBA) --- $15.00
Legend of Zelda 2 (GBA) --- $7.50

They had several others I almost got, like Mario Party 5 (GC), and Metroid Prime Echoes (GC), each for $22.50, but had to draw the line somewhere.

I don't know if this was just at this specific store or if it's a nationwide thing, but it's worth checking out IMHO.
This was at a south Fort Worth, TX location on Sycamore School Road if anyone's interested...they still have some more.

Yesterday I got 7 Dreamcast GD-r in the post. All boot on my PAL DC using the swap trick (which is nice), they are

Street Fighter 3rd Strike

The only differences I have noticed to the retail versions are the lack of 60hz option on a couple and Tomb Raider I can start at any level & it seems there are 3 extra levels too and SFIII 3rd Strike is still in Japanese but boots on my PAL console, will check out on my JP console later! I paid £100 for them.

Today from the car boot sale I got

Boxed Mk1 Megadrive & Boxed Master System converter & 5 games (3 PAL & 2 NTSC-U). Also came with 3 cheat books and 5 little sega trading cards with megadrive games on them. £20

Also picked up Toe Jam & Earl & Splatter House 2 for the MD for £7

SNES with 2 controllers 8 carts including DKCountry 1 & 2, Mario, Mario Allstars, Cannon Fodder, Super Aleste, MK3 & SF2 Turbo. Most games & the console have instructions but no box. The SNES was YELLOW, I'll be painting this one up gun metal black! Also came with a storage case for the games. £15

Amiga 520 with a load of games, some original, mostly copies. May be other bits could see joysticks etc in the box, will rummage later to see what I got (at work now). £5

And I picked up an Apex DVD player with cords for $10 yesterday. I can see video but no audio on it. It seems permanently set to digital mode, the remote's broken and there's no menu button on the machine itself, and I only have analog inputs on my TV and VCR (I hooked it up through the VCR's inputs to see if it worked okay). Any suggestions from the electronics wizards out there?

Those EA pads are made by Interact. I had a PSX one. They're actually quite nice because (well I don't know how to explain it perfectly) they have a layer of rubber on the top. So they feel real nice. At least I though so. They weren't sold with a game or anything, just standard 3rd party controllers. I do believe they were licenced though. I picked up mine at a TRU.

A rather strange find for me...

Here's a photo (http://www.webmad.co.uk/simlife.jpg) of it - it's basically Sim Life for the PC but for use in schools. There's a ring binder, User Manual, teacher's guide, 2 3.5" disks, 2 5.25" disks and various other bits and bobs. All the prices and addresses mentioned within are US so I've no idea what it was doing being sold (as new!) in the UK! Still, worth the 69p I spent on it, though I've no idea what I'm going to do with it!

Wow what a weekend this one was. Saturday started off a little slow at a local swap meet. I only found a 3rd party Saturn controller for $1.00 and a promotional CD for Space Channel 5: Planet Dance for $2.00. Then ran to the local thrift stores and found a GAME.COM unit for $.98 it was missing the battery cover but I figured for a buck it was worth it for the novelty. I also found a sealed copy of Mario Party for N64 for $5.00
Then I went to a Salvation Army and hit one of the HOLY GRAILS for $25.00 I got:
Master System unit with the original RF unit.
2 joysticks
1 control pad
Great Baseball, Ghostbusters, World Grand Prix, Black Belt, Great Soccer, Kung Fu Kid, Choplifter, Transbot (card), F-16 Fighting Falcon (card), Ghost House (card).

And this made the day all worthwhile the SEGA 3-D Gasses for the master system complete.
