Attention CGE attendees: I need some volunteers!

Hey gang, I know that at lot of you have said you'll help out with the party, so it's time to do an "official" head count.

Please:
- only people that are DEFINITELY going to CGE. It's nice that you want to help, but if you're not sure yet if you'll be there or not, please don't sign up.
- keep in mind that I'm looking for people to assist with party set-up, and then some help during the party as well. If you prefer one or the other (or both!), let me know :)
- We're looking into "incentives" for those that donate their time.

So, you can reply here, or you can shoot me a PM. Either way, I'll get back to you so I can get an email address, which I will then proceed to spam with information and pornographic pictures. Thanks, gang :)

The snacks are already being covered, actually, which is why I didn't reply. I don't think you'll be able to help with party set-up, Marty; we can't have you carrying alcohol through the hotel, sorry.

Yes, US law prohibits minors from consuming alcohol; not only that, but say some kid went to the store with mom to get groceries, and mom bought a bottle of something to bring home. By US law, the kid can't carry the bag that bottle gets put into out of the store. Minors cannot possess nor consume nor purchase alcohol.

I will also take this chance to say this, and I'm only saying it once: Minors are allowed at the party, but if you take even ONE SIP of any alcohol, you're out. We don't need those kinds of problems with the hotel or the police.

Was funny seeing the face on this American guy who was over here on our course for a year placement when he realised he could go to any bar and buy a drink legally for the first time (he was 19) LOL

But I'll keep an eye out for any under-agers (assuming I don't aim to get as drunk as last year).

Fellow member EavIII (aka Doc) and I are still interested in doing a tournament on a really popular head to head game. I know for sure I'll be there and I'm about 95% sure he'll be there. We can do this as part of the party or a separate thing. We'll take care of all the stuff we need as well as the prizes. Let me know if you want to do something like this.

Regarding minors: how will we know which party attendants are underage? There's not that much difference between, say, being 19 and 21. I suggest carding at the door so that we'd get a clear tally of the minors present.
