Let's try to name as many games as possible that have Taxis in them. Doesn't matter if the Taxi is just scenery or part of the game.
Here's a few to start things off:

The first two that came to mind were
Space Taxi, a classic C64 game that may remind you of Lunar Lander.
Quarantine, an early CD-ROM project where you're a Taxi driver.

The Wario Ware game for Gameboy Advance had a level where you were in a taxi cab.

It burns me up that Joe got to Quarantine AND Space Taxi, two of my all-time favorite games. I walked to the computer to put those up here, and he had already. :angry:

In the Japanese game "The Taxi: Untenshu wa Kimi da!" you drive a Taxi cab. It's similar to Crazy Taxi. There's also Taxi Driver the game, based on the cult-classic film, due out this fall. There's a PC game called Ancient Taxi, where cavemen drive around pre-historic helicopter. I'm not sure if I remember an actual cab in Simpson's Hit and Run or not. There was also an old game called Moon Taxi but I'm not sure what systems it was available for.

You cab people around in Mafia, for PC and XBOX (and PS2, I think). Also, a game called London Taxi.

Kamikaze Cabbie is an arcade game from about 1984. It is actually fairly similar in concept to Crazy Taxi, except istead of time limit you have dwindling fuel, that you can refill at gas stations.

First game that came to mind was the original Leisure Suit Larry, in the Land of the Lounge Lizzards. You use a taxi to get arround town, otherwise you get mugged.

Quarantine was the first that came to my mind too! I LOVED this game, bought it shortly after it came out, very gruesome for it's time. Very creative too.

In Snatcher for Sega CD there is an illegal taxi that you use and is incorporated into the plot.
Uhh- Midnight Club? You start w/ a taxi.
Also, I dont have it to check, but in TimeSplitters taxis come & go outside on the Spaceport level, but you cant really interact w/ them.

You use a Taxi in "Flashback: The Quest for Identity" while on the first Earth Level.
There is a Pinball game called "Taxi"
Die Hard with a Vengence game (PSOne...I think)
The Sims (1 and 2)
Jet Set Radio Futue (I believe in the opening title sequence around Shubuya terminal)
I don't recall but the game based on the movie the Fifth Element for the PS1. There is Bruce Willis' taxi cab on the game cover. But don't know if you use it in the game at all.

Die Hard with a Vengence game (PSOne...I think)
It's actually called Die Hard Trilogy its the first game that came to mind mind besides Crazy Taxi when I read the title. It's a decent game actually although I don't know how good it holds up today. In the third part of the game you can drive a taxi.

I still play this game, as early back as 2 weeks. I especially really enjoy the second part with a lightgun. Just a very fun and addicting game. "Yippie Kye Yay!" (SP?)

I believe there was a taxi in Perfect Dark
Sonic Adventure 2 theres a taxi in the opening level.
San Francisco Rush its an unlockable.
Tokyo Extreeme Racer 1 2 and probably zero

Yep, and you could also unlock a Taxi with a plow attached to the front. It was fun speeding through the cities in that thing plowing through traffic and seeing cars fly behind you. LOL
Here's one that hasn't been mentioned yet - every Burnout game.

What about the Mad taxis from Earthbound? There are also regular taxis that don't try to kill you.

I still have Die Hard Trilogy, and the control doesn't hold up (analog is not good, especially on a game where the timing gets so tight) but it's a fun game to slap some cheat codes on and create havoc (I love the blood splats and windshield wipers that come up when you hit a ped in 1st person view)
