Came across this article this morning:
http://pitchforkmedia.com/features/weekly/05-06-06-john-cages-xbox.shtml
It mostly talks about the evolution of game music, and concentrates on interactive, dynamic music and its unique place in games -- an unusual angle for a non-game-oriented source. It's a very smart, well-written, insightful article. I enjoyed it.
For those not in the know, Pitchfork is a slightly snobby indie music site. They've gotten pretty big in the past couple years.
