A while ago I won 2 auctions on Ebay. The seller told me that the shipping would cost $24 (oversea shipping), but when I recived the package I see it only had cost $11.

I e-mailed the seller about this, but he/she got rude and refused to refund what I have overpayed.

I left 2 negative feedback, but now I see that the feedback have been removed. Anyone know why?
This fucking pisses me off.

Was the shipping listed in the auction?

Anyway, as for the removal, the only way to remove feedback is mutually withdraw, and I'm thinking you didn't do that. ;) I have no idea.

Straight from eBay

Feedback abuse and removal

Feedback that meets any of the circumstances below is feedback abuse and may be subject to removal. Feedback that doesn't meet any of the reasons outlined below will not be removed:

*eBay is provided with a valid court order finding that the disputed feedback is slanderous, libelous, defamatory or otherwise illegal.
*The feedback comment contains profane, vulgar, obscene, or racist language or adult material. Inflammatory language, such as "fraud, liar, cheater, scam artist, con man" etc., while strongly discouraged, will not be removed.
*The feedback comment contains personal identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or e-mail address.
*The feedback makes reference to an eBay, PayPal or law enforcement organization investigation.
*The feedback comment contains links or scripts.
*Negative feedback intended for another member will be considered for removal only in situations where the member responsible for the mistaken posting informs eBay of the error and has already placed the same feedback for the correct member.
*Feedback left by a person ineligible to participate in eBay transactions, according to Section 1 of the eBay User *Agreement, at the time of the transaction or the time the feedback was left.
*Feedback left by a member who provided eBay with false contact information and could not be contacted. In general, the transaction period is considered to be 90 days from the end of the listing or 30 days from the date the feedback was left, whichever was longer.
*Feedback left by a member who bid on or purchased an item solely to have the opportunity to leave negative feedback for the seller, with no intention of completing the transaction.

No, it wasnt stated in the auction. The seller told me that USPS charged from $24 to $100 for shipping overseas. The seller said he chose the cheapest way.

USPS only charged $11 so he/she lied to me.

I wrote that the seller was a liar, which is true, in the feedback. Maybe this is the reason? Really annoying if it got removed just because I used the word liar @_@

Who talkes or writes like this anyway when they have been scammed? I can understand that racism stuff but to forbid using liar or lied about kinda stuff sucks big time.

Edit: I would most def send a mail to customer service about this, even if it wouldn't help that much, rules are rules.
I would be lightened up just to write it all off though.

Did you write something about an investigation, or put a link in it? Are you shure your contact info on file w/ ebay is up to date? There are several methods of getting feedback removed, the easiest is though to be invalid contact information (ICI).

You can write "liar" in feedback. Also was this seller From Germany? I have read that the German Ebay allows feedback to be removed for nothing under certian conditions. What those conditions are, I do not know.

Hm.. you might be onto something there. I did have a invalid phonenumber and recently I got a message when I logged into ebay that I needed to verify my phonenumber. Altho, this might have been a standar thing for all users..?

I didnt write any link or anything when I left feedback, only that the seller lied and was rude on e-mail.

No, he seller was not from Germany. The seller is from USA, I live in Europe.

I'd sure hope not, it would defeat the entire purpose of feedback if you can just pay to have them removed

If you use SquareTrade you can have them contact the other person and if the other person does not respond then you can pay to have the neg removed. But it is still a process like PayPal where they medeate between the two people. So if you didn't get a email from SquareTrade that still doesn't explaine it either!

They don't remove it anymore, they just withdraw it now. So they are pretty pointless, since you can have it withdrawn for free, unless you think the other person won't respond.
