Was just wondering how much more the Bandai version of Dragon Ball Z GT Final Bout is worth over the re-released Atari Version. From my understanding the Atari version is probably worth around $13 on the used market. I'm sure that the Bandai one has to still be worth more than that. The online DP guide says $80, but I'm not sure it's worth that much. Any suggestions?

About $80 complete and in good condition.

Price has come down recently due to the rerelease. $80 probably sounds about right, I think I got a complete copy for QoF for $72.

Its worth about 80. It has dropped in value since the re-release, but also in that time the number showing on ebay has dropped too. It's made the game less of the cash cow that it used to be. The last ones I tried to wrangle in for myself pushed $120 and never even reached the sellers minimum. I offered my last and winning bid towards his a few times, I got no dice, so he got no money.

The games original release was really limited so the value (even for one of the WORST ever PS games) is justified.

I remember seeing them sell for as little as $40 on eBay shortly after the re-release.

Sounds great. I knew the price dropped considerably and I thought that it would be worthless. Great to know it still holds some value.

The reason I asked this question is because some guy sold me a copy and I didn't know the exact value to give him. So I offered him $12 for it and he sold it to me. I just didn't want to get burned and am really glad I didn't.

So how much is the Atari re-release worth? I don't see a separate listing for the Atari version in the database. Should there be?

Atari re-release is worth 10 or less. Theres no listing because its not a new game, its just a variant (all be it a complete variant). The game holds the same SLUS number as the original as well as the PSRM (on disc) number. Hell Atari even left the BanDai stuff in the starting screens if I remember correctly. I'll check the description and add a note if theres not one already there.

Stu's right. The re-release was mor elike a "Hey! Let's update the packaging and ship it!"

When the disc boots up, it's still the same old game, same Bandai data, no Atari anywhere. The ultimate kick in the face to collectors everywhere.
