Why didn't I bid?? I was sure bidding would go through the roof, so I ignored it until it was too late....

Hah like the guy will get the game anyway. I bet about 10 people have Emailed the seller with high offers, probally 5 of them from DP after seeing this post LOL

how do you think the seller feels he/she prolly expected to get way more than that for it

He ended it early to the high bidder. The auction didn't end on its own. From my understanding (from the seller) he was offered an "undisclosed" amount for it (as i asked him about it before its end) and he took it.

Don't worry, it didn't sell for 99 cents. The seller got their deal and the buyer... well he spent quite a bit.

you can never dislike a box for DK jr Math... no matter how ex-rental it is :)

just my humble opinion.

True, but ex-rentals gimme the shivers, box looks ok from the front but no pic of the back.

Most of the time those ex-rental stickers are on the back and a pain to remove,i\'ll just wait for a normal copy of the game.

IBTN.

This is the box you don't turn down if you can find it reasonably priced.

Hey Josh,

Too bad you didn't get, I know you wanted one. Curious though, how do you know it went for a lot if the price was undisclosed? Did he give you a range or something?

cheers,
Dan

He told me the price (which was a good price for both buyer and seller), i just didn't want to spout it off in a public forum as i didn't think it was really my place.

I already have a CIB Dk Jr Math. I am just trying to track down that damn box variation that "someone" showed me ;)

I don't see the harm in saying what he sold it for. Can you at least give a ballpark figure?

Yowch - did he see the discoloration on the top label? That puppy was left in the sun with the top exposed. Still nice and everything mind you.

I would assume he did, but then again he wanted it BAD and this one was in great shape. Not awesome, but great (sans the fading)

More than i paid for mine (which was $20) and less than that one Nesmaster posted a link to.

it was actually right around 100, give or take.

Mmm...that box looks very nice. I'm happy to have a boxed copy except for the fact it seems to have a knife gash in the side. Oh well.

Knife gash in the side? You know, i have TONS of NES games with this. I think this "knife gash" had something to do with the games coming out of their big boxes that Nintendo shipped to stores when a store employee would open the box with a cutter, snagging the games edge at the top.

Not sure if that's the type of gash you have, but i don't consider it too big of a fault.
