I got a boxed Game-Master a couple of days ago and that brought obscure handheld systems back to my mind. Because of that I had a look at my Gamate system box. This is a common Bit Corp box, which is overlabeled with Yeno stickers. (As most of the Gamate stuff in Germany and France is.) Anyway, I found the following text:

"Ein Verbindungskabel ist seperat erhältlich. Mit ihm kann man zwei Konsolen verbinden und zu zweit spielen."

(A conection cable is available separate. With it you can connect two consoles and play together.)

Sounds like a Comlynx cable for the Gamate. Strange, isn't it? If someone is interested I can make a pic of the box.

I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of it (I can't remember if the US Gamate box shows it or not, and mine is buried too deep right now).

The thing is though, it's still going to be a rumored item until someone actually finds one...

I'll send you pics tomorrow and I'll check out the game instructions that I have to see if there are any infos aboute a 2 player mode.

I've checked my games and found something:

The box of my Tennis game says:

"1 player or compete with a partner"

and in the instructions:

"Notice: You can choose two players mode only when you connect two machines with a GAMATE link cable. In two players mode you play against an opponents on the other machine."

I know that it is still a rumor, but I want to have a link cable for my Gamate!
