Got the above in a large lot of PS2 games. Anyone know anything about it? There's no UPC and no instructions. I don't have the normal version of the game, but the disc doesn't seem to indicate anything special. I did a forum search here and google, but didn't come up with anything. Any info would be appreciated.

Also found this at a thrift. It's mint (save for the price written on it). It's kind of a video game. :) Guess I need to find my VCR and fire it up.

I beleive that's nothing more than a normal rental case for a Hollywood video PS2 game. So somebody probably bought it used from there and sold it to you. Sorry, it's not a super-rare rental only variant or anything, like Sonic Advenure LE. :P

Eh, if that's all it is, that's cool. I don't shop at HV, so I had no idea. Wasn't expecting anything super-rare, just thought it was different. It doesn't even have the normal PS2 logo on the spine - it has the black PS1 logo and nothing that actually says Playstation 2.

GameCrazy does this, since it's a part of Hollywood Video.

ROBOTS! By Isaac Asimov!

I love that game, it's great, decent video if not cheesy. Not rare but good times.

(this has been the obligatory post by the VCR board game collector)

Yeah, we made those for just about every rental. Sometimes they contained unfinished/prototype box art, which was kind of cool. I remember Pikmin 2 being a different picture.
