I thought I read somewhere that they were talking about being able to hook it up to the PS2 (or PS3) eventually so you can play the games on an actual TV screen.

I just can't stand handhelds. The Super Gameboy, and later GBA Player were godsends to me :)

I'm sure there's a hack that could be done.

I'm waiting for the DS to be connected to a TV...or 2.

There's a bunch of handlhelds I've been waiting for someone to come up with a mod for....sigh...for most of them it will probably never happen.

Unless that second TV is a touch screen, I don't think the DS would work LOL

Well there's plenty of touch screen LCDs out there and you can always use the DS screen itself (if the DS is the controller), for the touch parts.

I suppose if the DS was ever emulated, maybe even a mouse or Wacom tablet support could be implemented for this.

I was thinking that there more then likelly will be a way to have the PSP Display on a monitor sooner or later which would be easier and better in most respects..

Hopefully that will be soon :)

This is just a theory, no fact to back it up.
I don't see Sony releasing anything that will allow the PSP to be displayed on a TV. As a matter of fact, I wouldnt be suprised to find out that they actually took measures to prevent it from happening. Hooking it up to a TV will only show it's flaws when sitting next to a PS2.
I.M.O.
Thats not to say a 3rd party wont release a product...but thats why Id expect Sony to try and prevent it from being possible at a reasonable price.

I never understood people like you! I much prefer handhelds since generally that's the only way I get to play due to time, TV use, travelling, etc.

Buy I thought maybe there'd be a UMD slot on the PS3. Would make sense, but apparently Sony doesn't see it that way. At least to play UMD movies.

If you want to play your PSP on your TV, buy a PS2, Tony Hawk Underground, Need for Speed, MVP Baseball, Dynasty Warriors, etc. You're all set, really.

I already have a PS2 :P

I only want it for the exclusive games. And nothing like Tony Hawk or Need for Speed -_-

At the moment there aren't many exclusives worth a damn. Really past Lumines there isn't much.

That is why i'm waiting for a price drop on PSP Items and waiting for some Games that I WILL Play.

Well, besides Lumines, I'm also enjoying Metal Gear Acid and Untold Legends.

But I have'nt bought any games since those either. There ARE a lot of remakes and copies on the system -- although to be fair a lot of them are quite good.

We're getting a Generation of Chaos on it(apparently US bound), but I'm not sure if it's a port of the one of the PS2 games, or a whole new one.

THAT'S what I'm looking forward to. :D
