Isn't that game worth next to nothing here (United States)? Also I think it came out on a Red Cart, correct? Whatever, great price for whoever is selling this one!

Japanese Acclaim releases, especially complete ones, are extremely rare, from what I've seen in this forum the past few weeks. They didn't produce many copies for the Asian markets.
But 156 pounds, in LESS THAN A DAY OF BIDS...
That's... insane.

Is it because it is based on a US comic book that has little or no interest in Japan or places abroad? Wouldn't it be cheaper to get a us system and the us version of this game than pay that much for the Japanese game that is up for auction?

Yeah, that's an unfortunate consequence of the fact that people only buy it for the collectibility. Anyone who wants it to play the game will just buy the PAL or US version for a fraction of the price. And anyone who is willing to pay that much for a collectable game will almost certainly want it in tip-top condition.

If you look at the left side (back) of the box, you'll see "MAXIMUM CARNAGE" in white letters; there's Japanese text underneath. The font looks Japanese, and that isn't that strange, publishers just slapping an extra graphic or two to denote a region change. This -is- Acclaim we're talking about here...
If you want, i can send scan of my maximum carnage too..
so wheellaa is trying to reach me in the very tight circle of complete jpn md collection owners outside japan? nice to hear :)

Yeah, although I think he may have sourced a Max Carnage ... and I think he is probably excluding the Nagoya cart and Tetris :)
Not to mention, his scheme may be interrupted by his affection for sealed PC Engine games .. but he's definitely well on the way to the hall of complete Jap MD owners, and intending to get there in the not too distant future!

I've got it in the database as "Nagin no Home Banking System Nice-kun Mini Desu" which is the name I was given by a contributor. Does anyone know which is correct?
(Also, is wheelaa including the "Nikkan Sports Pro Yakyuu VAN" non-game cart? I believe that's one of the rarest offical JP MD releases aswell)
