Berzerk and Doctor Who

I may be nuts for mentioning this but:

Back in the Eighties, my favorite game was Berzerk. I played it constantly (to the point of getting "Berzerk elbow").

Unfortunately, at the time Doctor Who was not available in my area.

Looking at it now, of course, it looks like an archetypal Doctor Who episode - running through corridors fighting robotic adversaries screaming to kill you.

Any of you pretend you were Doctor who while playing Berzerk?

I think most people thought they were Cylons. I mean, the voice...the "rotating eye"...those Berzerk 'bots were so Cylon.

Yeah, I can't imagine the Doctor using a gun of any sort unless he really, really had to. And knowing him, he'd probably just seal the door.
