Hi,

Would anyone be interested in trading/buying a Siera Videopac console? The Videopac rarity guide rates this is as Ultra-Rare.

(for those who don't know, it's a Videopac console, but produced by Siera after Philips stopped making them. These are extremely hard to find)

Cheers,
Raymond

Possibly. It would depend on price, and if it was in good condition, and came with the box and manual.

An "8" and I don't own it. Consider me interested!

It's loose but in good condition. I've never seen one complete in box though...

I think it's that one, but the description doesn't make much sense. The Siera is basically a G7000 but instead of Philips it says Siera. As far as i know it is not flatter nor is the On/off button missing (original G7000's from Philips also do not have such a button). Check BuckyB's Videopac rarity guide for more info (he also rates it as an UR)

Cheers,
Raymond

Well, even without the box, I am interested. Count me in for sure - and I was first to post here too!!! :D

I, too, am interested. Post pix, please. I have some stuff for trade. I can tell you that despite it's rarity, it isn't exceedingly valuable. There are so many G7000 console variations that it has to be interesting to be slightly more valuable.

Picture is here: http://rotzorg.org/~raymond/weird/siera.jpg

There is only one (small) catch and that is that i'm in Finland at the moment and won't be back in The Netherlands until 27-7 so any trades have to be delayed until then...

I know, although it does sell for more then a standard G7000. But I wasn't looking for the jackpot for this console :)

En tiedä oletko ollut yhteydessä "sunny" nimiseen henkilöön pelikonepeijoonit.net boardilla, mutta luulisin että olisi hyvinkin kiinnostunut. Kannattaa kokeilla.

I had to use all my finnish language skillz but i think i figured it out :) I still have Sunny's email somewhere as i've sold some things to him in the past. I'll send him an email.

I totally forgot about this thread  Anyway, like i said in an earlier post, i'm not able to send out this console before 23-7 so i will contact you all before that to (maybe) work something out.

Thanks for your interest.

Cheers,
Raymond

Ok. Finally got the console in my possession. It took a little longer than expected because of the holiday season. I'm asking EUR 75,- for it. (think this is too high? make me an offer).
The price includes 2 Siera Videopac games: 'Take The Money And Run' and 'Laser War'. The games are complete in box, but the console however is loose, but comes with PSU and 2 joysticks. If you need pictures let me know.

Cheers,
Raymond

Couldn't find the USB cable of my digital camera, so i used my camera phone. Pictures might not be of really high quality but good enough to give an impression. If you want pictures of some detail or whatever just let me know. You can find them at http://rotzorg.org/~raymond/weird/Siera/
