Videogame RPGs without the videogame system!

Most videogame RPGs try to emulate the pencil and paper games we all grew up with. Well here's one that turns that on its ear!

"Console" is the pencil and paper RPG that emulates videogame role-playing games! The game takes it's tone and mechanics from games like FF, Arc the Lad, and the Shining Force series! Best of all, it's free!

I have no connection with the writer or creators of the game. Just stumbled across it and thought it was cooler than hell. It's a 108-page pdf, but worth the download just for reading purposes. Calls itself a "parody," but it has a strong game mechanic in place.

Snider, there's a website (I forgot where) where some people are putting the FF titles into pen and paper RPGs as well.

I'm actually going to be playing this tomorrow at my gaming group. I've had it for a few months now, and quite honestly, it kicks ass. It's a paper pencil first person shooter with cards and figures. The games can get quite loud sometimes with all the screaming and yelling.
