Seriously, this looks like a cool little game. The visual style reminds me of The Journey Home, which we Americans were denied so many years ago.

I also agree strongly about what DreamTR said. A new Genesis release is a wonderful thing and is something I'd love to see more of iy in the future on more older consoles (even though it means one more Genesis game to track down for a complete collection :P ). This release is a sign of beautiful things to come and if we don't do our part then these games will never see the light of day.Period.
And Kid Fenris, superb job on fixing that translation. Now it looks on par with today's Final Fantasy games! :D 8-)

It is also not kind to consider the project in any way unworthy based on the simple fact you dislike a line or two of dialogue.
Now hold the phone, I never called the project "unworthy," nor did anyone else. I will buy and likely enjoy this game, and I'd do the same even if I didn't know you like I do. In fact, I'll go as far as to say I'm excited about it. My stance remains, though, the dialogue in the screenshots is pretty bad. That doesn't change my opinion of either you or this project, I'm just making an observation.

They posted an update on BP's status earlier in August...
"Beggar Prince will be publicly demonstrated at the Classic Gaming Expo on August 20 and 21, 2005. Fans and potential customers will get a chance to try out the game for the very first time during this event. Our game cartridges are being produced at this very moment, so it will not be long before the game goes on sale. Thanks, everyone, for your patience!"

I've got to say I am quite dissapointed I can't buy one at CGE. That was the original release date and it was my most anticipated game I was going to buy.
Anyways, I am still looking foward to this title very much and hope it rocks.
If anyone reading this works for the company, bring me in an advanced copy and I'll keep it on the hush.
