need some help clearing up how memory card works on xbox.plz

hiya, im faced with a little problem, i play a lot of games on my home xbox console and the same games at my dorm, on my roomate's console.

id prefer not to bring my xbox up to dorm because its a limited edition one and it be nice to keep it minty at home.

my question is such, can i copy the save game files from the Xbox HD to a memory card? or does it only work with certain games, how does it work. i dont have a memory card to test so im relying on your experiences. thanks in advance.

Just take a game, load up a save you want, then save it to the card. Easy. If that doesn't work, then you're SOL. Probably the save would be too big for the card in that case.

You should be able to copy the save files right from the Memory viewer in the XBox Dashboard. Be warned, some save files can't be copied, either because of size, or copy protection on the file. I know for a fact that Forza and DDR Ultramix 2 can't have their save files backed up to a memory card.

Is your xbox mdoded?

If so do this, copy files off your xbox hdd to PC via ftp then ftp back to your new drive (should be H:) and your set. Thats how to get past copy protected saves.

If I'm not mistaken, PGR2 does work with it. I think that's how everyone used Action Replay to down load a save file with the Speed 12 unlocked. Heh.
