Quick question. What is an NES Miracle Piano cart supposed to do if you just have a standard control pad hooked up to it ?
This is the second one i have bought that glitches out when you push the control pad buttons on the title screen...and i gave the first one to my friend because i thought it was defective and he said he could fix it... :eek 2:
I don't have the keyboard or anything so i need somebody to tell me if i got screwed here or not...

That's normal when you don't have the Miracle Piano unit. Your friend may have thought that it was due to dirt, but if he hasn't mentioned anything about it after the failed cleaning attempts, then yea, you got ripped off ;)

Yeah, you totally need the cart to do anything with that game.

Without the keyboard, the cart is really only good as a collectible. The purpose of the cart is to teach you how to play piano, and it does so with some game-like exercises.

Very cool accessory. If you connect the piano to your NES and put it on together with your NES (with the cart inserted) it will automatically plays some music.
If my memory serves me right, you needed to plug the Keyboard into port 1, and a controller into port 2. Putting them in the other way leads to glitchy title screens.

YES! :D Tried plugging the controller in port 2 and it works like a dream, thanks. I'm wanting one of those keyboard setups more and more now.
I guess my buddy just got a $7 freebie from me...meh. LOL
What's a good price for a complete setup on Ebay ?
