EBgames.com is having 15% off preplayed stuff. You can use the code PPLAY15 in addition to your active EB Edge (10% off) savings card. 25% off sale! Whoohoo!!

It is awesome -- but it's also available every day if you use either EB's 15% code (which I think is constantly available even if it's not advertised on the front page) or cheapassgamer's 15% code (CAG15). Don't forget to throw SAVER in there so you have 25% + free ship whenever you'd like!

You won't be able to use that giftcard across sites for a while. The sale isn't even finalized yet. I think the shareholders still have to vote on it, etc.

I just placed a small order on ebgames.com for the following:
Conker's Pocket Tales (GameBoy Color)
It's a cutesy Conker game. :D
Gyromite (NES)
For the sake of making getting a converter ;)
Sesame Street ABC (NES)
What can I say? It was $0.75 after 25% off. LOL

How do you use the edge card online? I have one, but never used it online.

What are the chances of actually getting a game in decent used shape from the website? Cartridge games I wouldn't be too worried about, but with the newer titles what are the odds of getting a box and manual?

I shop at ebgames.com everyday and at least pick up a game or two or three... Its mostly the "cheaper" games, but they have so many good sub $3 PSX games its crazy. The bad part is that I still haven't recieved a complete PSX game yet, but I don't really care. I really wished they hadn't changed the N-Gage section to "may or may not include boxes or instructions", because I care if they are complete or not. Half the games aren't worth buying anyway, and I sure don't want them loose. I want them for collecting purposes.
To use your edge card online you have to enter the number on the yellow sticker into the code box on your cart page.
The website will tell you if it will for sure include boxes and instructions, might, or will not. I've ordered 3 Gamecube games, all three came complete like they should. Two looked brand new (case, disc, instructions--I was shocked at how minty fresh they were), and one didn't work. The best part is you can just return them to a B&M ebgames if there's a problem.

So unless I want a disk only copy, I shouldn't bother with PSX titles. Darn. What about PS2? Anyone have any luck?

PS2, Xbox, Game Cube, and DS used games definatly will have the instructions and box. With PSX and Dreamcast its about a 50/50 chance of getting the original packaging, but if you get a disc only copy of a game and you have a local EB you can return the loose copy for a refund and reorder to try again. NES/Genesis/SNES/N64 definately will NOT have any box or instructions.

Go to your cart and there's a box where you can enter codes. You can do text codes such as PPLAY15 and SAVER and that's where you enter the number that's on the sticker they put on back of your card. Not the number printed on the card itself.

They state one of the following on each game:
- Does not include instructions or any original packaging (All carts)
- May not include instructions or any original packaging (Dreamcast, PSX)
- Includes instructions and original packaging
