Personal Goal Obtained

At the beginning of the year I decided to try and get all 3 of the US SNES R8 games.

Since SNES games are pretty easy to find in the wild I thought it would be a goal I could obtain within the year.

Well today I finally got the last one I needed. I'm glad that I didn't have to resort to Ebay to get any of these titles.

All three I got at used game stores in my area. Two of them through Gamecrazy and one through Game X Change.

I spent the following on each:

Aero Fighters - $8
Chavez II - $7
Fun 'n Games - $16

Combined they were way less than the guide prices. With the exception of the tear on the front of Fun 'n Games they are mint.

Up next are the R7 SNES games. So far I've got 5 out of 14. I figure the Mircale Piano cart will be the toughest of that lot.

I think the closest store that sells used 16 bit cartridges is about an hour and 15 minutes away from where I live.

I got an R6 for Genesis (Magic School Bus) for $1.99 today.

Thats great that you could find 3 R8's in the wild. Up here in Canada, that is quite hard.
I'm currently working on a small personal goal as well... I'd like the acquire all of the Tengen games for the NES. 2 more to go 8-)

Congrats..... I wasn't even looking for SNES games at the time i found Aero Fighters at an old vintage store. Got it cart only for $1 or was it $2....can't remember. I hope the game works (not tested due to no SNES). I am currently after all 81 US rpg's for PSone (will probably take me another year or 2 to complete) and all Fighting games for PSone.
