Hello forum, EFX here, You may remember me from 1996

I was in a group in early 1996 that released the first 300 nes roms.
Group was Damaged Cybernetics, I had the distinct pleasure
of playing many of the emulated games you enjoy for the first
time on a pc. :D

Was very surreal indeed.

When you hear Damaged Cybernetics you probably think of
Mindrape, well let me tell you , I had nothing to do with the
nesticle source being stolen, I gave Don a severe virtual
kick in the nuts and I had already left the group before that
point myself.

anyway, reason I am here is because bVork said this is a good
place to unload my nes collection.

I have my collection worked out in Excel and Html format
with prices built in.

I have a list of all the games I have and prices I am asking for them.

I hve the same memories. Emunews was so cool back then. The first days of emulation were really fun. I also remember another good website from back then: the digital toad wesbsite

Not offhand no I don't. I remember IHOR and a couple of other major rom sites before Geocities went berzerk. I remember this GB rom site that was the first place that I found a few hard to find (at the time) roms. I miss when emulation wasn't mostly about piracy. It was about having fun and so on. Oh well.

yea it was a lot of fun to revive a old system like nes on the pc,
a lot of people couldn't find 50% or more of the games back then.
Ebay was still a fledgling and not everyone had money anyway.

It was old enough that it wouldn't damage profits to revive NES
on the pc. And even doing so led people back to the hobby
of getting the real thing. I myself had 510 no dupes at one point.
Recent finacial circumstances have forced my hand to sell though.
