Old BBS Game. Infinity Complex. any on the web?

Greetings Programs.

While cleaning up some computer stuff I ran across a printout I made of different macros used in an old MajorBBS game called Infinity Complex. It was a text based MUD like game. Back in 1989 I was addicted to this and prpbably spent hundreds of hours playing. I have done some searching through all the old BBS boards and even on the web there are lots of references to Cab The Commie and other IC related stories but I can't find any information if there are any still online.

By 1990 with my Genesis the whole idea of playing a multiuser text game seemed pointless.

Anybody remember Infinity Complex or know where a telnet enabled MajorBBS exists?

Unless this door is MajorBBS-only, if you point me to a place that has the binaries I'll be glad to host it on my BBS.

I wish there was a place online that you could play all the old door games on.... I miss some of them...

Suppose I could setup my old BBS again if I still have it all backed up, but the whole world isn't exactly as local as the internet is ;)

I seem to recall it was a galacticom exclusive for MajorBBS.

I clicked that before I posted ;) It asked me to open up some other program, so I closed the tab.

It's asking you to open your Telnet program :) If you would rather use a Java based telnet program, hit the website (http://www.particles.org or http://www.retroputing.net) and click on BBS.

Infinity Complex was the shiz-nittlebam snip-snap-sack!

I wasted 1/13th of my early teen years on that game.

M1's, M2's, M3's, blasting holes through walls, setting up teams... :snipersmile:

Yeah, let me know if that game gets put back up anywhere!

Not sure if this thread is still relevant. But I have been looking to play this game for years... I found one BBS still running it:

onixbbs.servebbs.com

Anyone want to lend me their macros? :D
