I just registered so I could post in this topic- I see you want a genesis CDX.

I have a mint condition one (have used it off and on for the past year to play moonwalker in my store) with 2 6 button sega controllers, av cord, power plug and rfu switch. No booklets/box since I was fortunate enough to come across it from an ignorant guy needing money *FAST*. Lets just say I gave him so little that he couldnt buy a sealed $20 greatest hits game with it LOL

How much do do you want for it? I'm not 100% sure of it's "true" value, but is it worth trading for Radiant Silvergun? I dont know if that's even or if I woudl rip you off or you to I. I also have some pretty good games with that CDX like the original Lunar, Vey, Gunstar Heroes etc etc.

First of all, welcome to the boards (MAN I could finally welcome someone in the right propper politically correct manner! :D)

Second, As we might be all cheers and huges and joy, we need a little more than a good will word. Some eBay feedback could be nice and as some told me, someone to vouch for you will give everyone around a peaceful sleep LOL

Last but not least, Radiant and a CDx are much around the same, because even when a complete unboxed CDX might be around 90 bucks, the shipping fee could easily reach 25. That leads me to the point.

Can someone point us, which games of those might cover another 30 bucks or so? A trade should be fair to the last penny and I know shipping to Mexico could be expensive while for me it's around $5 maybe less to ship one single CD to the US.

AND... well sooner or later we all find the deal of our lives, coming straight to our hands in the right time. But a $20 CDX? I ENVY YOU!!! :evil:

Actually it was $15, I work @ a game store and the guy wanted to trade it in. I told him I'd give him $15 cash since we dont accept that "weird machine" and that we gave $5 for sega cds and $10 for genesis systems.

He accepted without 2nd thought, and gave me the CDX + sonic cd.

I think I will wait (topic starter) a few days and perhaps buy RS directly from you if the few copies I have watched fail, since the above poster (thanks for the warm welcome btw 8-) ) made me want to hold onto my CDX, sorry :-/

I got the CDX about a year ago, and collected quite a bit of stuff for it, mostly the generic stuff that's fun but not worth much, and only a couple of games that are sought after (gunstar heroes probably is the only one, and a mint conditon boxed CV bloodlines).

but it's your fault for making me want to hold onto the CDX :D , and after looking over ebay and whatnot, the CDX console would be a pretty even trade for the radiant silvergun straight up after shipping costs, someone correct me if I'm wrong. (Mint condition console, av hook up, rf hook up, power cord that always works, 2 perfectly good working 6 button pads).

The sega cd games I own arent anything special, but lunar/vey/some football/ecco/ sonic cd/ etc etc, nothing spectacular.

Then you made me realize that I have a huge sega collection, from a mint in box Master System with a bunch of like new games, to the cdx, to the saturn, to the dreamcasts. Only sega stuff I'm really missing is a nomad to be quite honest with you.

But dont get me wrong, I'm very interested in RS from you- but I have a pretty high bid on an auction right now and I dont want to have 2 copies of the game when I probably wont even play it for more than a week or two tops.

I wish I had the energy to post a for trade list, because I have a ton of crap that I dont have room for anymore. My overall collection couldnt be more than 400 or 500 games large, which although isn't bad for a 5 year collection, is tiny compared to most here I'd guess. (although the bulk of it is my current gen stuff, which accounts for 200ish pieces of it)

But I do feel sorry for leading you along thinking you' would trade with me, and thus will have no problems sending you the metroid first hunt demo you have on your want list. I work at a game store and have access to this demo, and would have no problems giving you mine while I try to get one off a custy trying to trade it in. Paypal me $2 by sunday night and I will mail it for you monday when I go to post my ebay stuff.

Shipping a CDX to Mexico is 25 bucks tops. I mentioned that could be expensive because you are used to get a CD in 3 days for $4.50 insured and a Genny 1 for $15 shipped, compared to that $25 is expensive. LOL

I wouldnt part with either since I spent months looking for gunstar heroes, only to have it traded in on me by chance- and I have an extensive US CV collection, with all of the games released in the USA actually (not like it's a hard task though).

BUT-

if I don't win Raidant from the guy, I might be willing to trade to you towards the RS that you have, as long as it's in mint condition. I dont care about the spine card, but for $150 it should be in mint since I can probably get a copy from someone for under $100 that's in average shape, and just use my professional resurfacer at work to make it look new.

And you didnt tell me if you wanted the metroid demo or not, if you dont want it then just tell me! I figure $2 should cover the shipping cost which is probably like $1.5 and the $.5 for the envelope.

The CD is in MINTY condition, no scratches (at least nothing I can notice while looking it at and against a bright light)

The Manual is almost MINT (a few fingerprints here and there, nothing to worry about)

I appreciate your offer, but I have another guy giving me both the Instruction manual for the DS and the Metroid Demo (and a few other thingies as well).

I think I have some other SAT JP Titles, but nothing as spectacular as Radiant Silvergun :D

As dissapointing as it might sound, I never counted on with you to make a deal, ever since you posted you wanted a "playable" one I got it. The best part of this is that I wouldn't had charged you for shipping, the $150 was all included if you were looking for something "cheap"

And I posted I wanted a cheap copy because I was still waiting for that auction to end, and I would have just paid to get it quickly as I really wanted to play that game. So I figured that why not try to make a deal quickly, since I really just wanted to play it. The mint complete w/ spine ended at $157, and that was an amazing deal since it was totally complete in new condition. After I lost is when I PMed you, but since you didn't respond, I got lucky to find a BIN for $150. Good luck with the rest of your hunting.

Everyone deserves a Day Off once in a while. My "Electronic Day off" -No PC afterwork No videogames- is usually Tuesday. What I do not understand is the "fueling" part x_x

Some do not sell outside the US and some are willing to share half the fee if the shipping is too high.

I like this to be clear since the begining, that is why I describe in such detail how I want the items and how my items are. I do not want things specially MINT or always to be SEALED, so I don't find my expectations to be "High". You just want to give a try to something no matter if it is not specially complete or MINT before buying a better one, so I don't find your expectations to be "Low"

In that little universe I don't see me nor you to be special, above or below anyone else. (Exception made of course to that loonie called cruzway ROFL)

People around here tend to be "just a little" more agreesive than that, including direct attacks, severe insults, offenses, references to your "thin wallet" (not yours, that was one comment I once received) and plain direct sarcasm, you know? Nevertheless the bundle I am getting (CDX +32X +6 button controllers+ cash) is only a little better than the one you were offering me. I guess the only reason left for my unhappyness could be that I lost the pleasure of making a deal with you. ;)

As a mad collector I want that Nomad instruction manual. I got a nice Nomad with box and inserts but no instruction manual. SO I'm halfway of getting a complete Nomad and perhaps later I will go crazy and buy a sealed one even if that means to sell my other Radiant Silvergun :(

I want those beautiful pieces of Genesis history complete. I have some Shining Force loose but I want one complete. And both versions of those games (when available). BADLY.

You can never possibly have enough Nomads. They are just soooooooo beautiful you just want more. Today I want one, tomorrow I will want another and so on. I want a big Nomad Family that can see me every night when I kiss them goodnight.

I started to play Shining Force GBA. While some changes rock, other... hmmm... well are not exactly what I expected.

Well it is a sad way of bumping but as it has passed a few days since the last free bump, I think I can bump it.

I want a complete minty Genesis Shining Force. Or does anyone has a Shining Force instruction booklet in nice shape that want to part with?

C'mon, +1 HP upgrade stats for promoted characters?
Waiting until L10 promoted for a ridiculous +2% magic resist upgrade?

I have tried the old "Leveling up" technique. I had tried to get something decent but the last 25 times (YES! I REPLAYED THE SAME BATTLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!) the best I could get is a +2 Defense, it's reaaaaaaaaally disapointing :(

Other than that, a pathetic BUMP.

It is NOT mentioned in the list, and common sense would tell us it had a veeeery low probability of being that way either (I mean, a COMPLETE baby like the one you describe goes for at least $170 any day of the week... ok ok I have heard of complete Radiants for $125 or less, even about SEALED Radiants for $300. I only wished I had those contacts or at least a bit of the stuff they use in order to get that hiiiiiiigh) :P

Still one hell of a deal (expensive of course...) for the best shooter ever. :-D

However I cannot stand for the high eBay fees and I would better sell to a fellow collector rather to some totally stranger, not even mentioning the fact that shipping fees from Mexico kill any possible deal asides of bundles...

I would earn some more money, yes, but I wouldn't be rettributing anything to DP and the guys that helped me so much...

But as I said, the problem here is that many many many around are just plain cheapasses that do want everything for a low low price and are willing to wait until Armaggedon if necessary rather than to pay the fair price. They let good offers go and can wait even if they are eager for that item before spending a few more bucks than they WANT to spend. As if some pennies would save their lives and "wasting" their money in the fair price was the ultimate sin ROFL

I mainly focus on the 16 and 32 bits era (except of CD-I and 3DO this far) so thanks, but I am not attracted to SMS stuff :(

Well unfortunatly (for you at least) this time there won't be any killer deal about it like the Macross 2036. That I bought really cheap and was able to sell it that low for that reason, though.

As I said, this baby never goes below the $130 limits... so if you're interested, Shoot me an offer and we'll talk ;)
