Anyone playing this online?
It's not nearly as good as SFAC, but it's still fun.
My xbl name is buttasuperb, if anyone wants to play.

Is this worth getting? I stayed away from the PS2 version because it got such bad reviews, but I figured that the Xbox version would be a bit better because of the online play.

Like I said it's no where near as good as SFAC.
But should be expected.
It's a fun game, a little bit slow, but still worth getting imo.
But then again, I'm a Capcom fanboy.

CFE is kinda...not good. The soundtrack is pretty much the best part, everything else is ridiculously cut & paste, and the game's character balance isn't very good.

Man I'd piss so many people off by Hauzer spamming them it wouldn't even be funny. Well it would be to me.

I've heard that the manual says something about downloadable content for the game, so I may pick this one up once I find out if anything good will be available.

I just got this on the PS2 this afternoon.
To say I'm dissapointed would be an understatement. These are some of the worst backgrounds in any Capcom fighter, ever. I like the whole watercolor scheme just fine, but the animation is so bad back there (especially after CvS2), it's laughable.
Dimitri is way too powerful.
Why do I need to push two buttons to select which character? Why not just let me push a punch or a kick? Nitpicking? Sure. Logical? yes.
Gameplay wise it's ok. It drives me nuts that I can't dash with everybody. I'm very heavy on that when I play 2-D fighters. Too much Samurai Showdown. It is a little too slow by default. You can adjust it.
I've only played through it once, so it may grow on me with time. As for now, I'm thinking I'll be sticking with CvS2 as my most played current gen fighter.

i would say the game is worthy of a used purchase, maybe the new price if you are a huge 2D fighter fan. i stayed away longer than usual (got the PS2 version about a month ago) due to the bad reviews. i think Play was the only magazine to give it a good review actually they (Mr. Halverson) gave it a great review.

one of the only features that makes it stand out from another generic 2d fighting fest - the characters from red earth. that's the only console release they have been included in.
