is there any boss in a game you were truley amazed with?
for me it will always be the mothership on stage 3 of r-type, it was huge, the whole level was just the ship alone.. i was impressed by the sheer size of the thing..
as most of you will surely remember, you had to fly under it, then make your way back to it's glowing hit point, it was never realy tough or anything, but it was always the design which made smile every time i saw it.. destroying it always made me upset when i was a kid though, as i knew the next stage was boring compared to the mothership
