Some ppl asked it in my Complete Megadrive&32X JPN Collection,so here are the pictures of the SFC games i own...
This is NOT the complete collection, but i have around 75% of it,and i'm trying to end it during next year..all games are COMPLETE with box&instructions...pictures are good enough to let ppl see titles on the side of the boxes, if you can read japanese :)

Here are pictures

Might be better to put this all in the same thread; also I like links to pics better than tons of stuff loading for half a minute (would save you bandwidth too) :p

sweet. do you need this Chun Soft rpg by any chance? i cant read japanese so i have no idea what its called. somethign 2. has a guy in a straw hat on the cover.

anyway, awesome collection. do you catalog them on your pc with a box shot of each by any chance (thats what i do) but i mean i only have 220 games haha. i think many people here consider snes to be the best system, so we will all covet that collection greatly. game on!

Oh, and SWEET selection there. I see a few titles I recognize, even :D

I didn't know there was a SFC release of Gunforce...is there a release for the second title? I'll look that one up.

Damn, Adol! I had no idea you had such thorough and LARGE single system collections. Are those the main systems you collect for? What oter collections do you have?

Dear god man @_@

That is one NICE collection. How did you procur it? I see that you're from France, are Jp SFC just in hyper abundance there? Did you live in Japan? Or are you an ebay addict?

Be sure to take some pictures when you get them all up on shelves. I'd love to see your room of doom!

@sisko

France has a huge jap import scene, that developed from their love of comics and thus mangas

@Adol do you have any of the Jpn SFC Kiosk games like Wizardry 1-2-3 or Super Famicom wars? Do you know of a list of games that were only released on the SFC Kiosk flash carts?

Well,France got lots of imports yes,we import games from Japan since mid-80s,with Famicom games, then next came PC Engine,Megadrive...
We love mangas and japanese anime as well here...70% of cartoons broadcasted on French TV were japanese anime!
So i grew up during my childhood with all those

There is ony 1 Gunforce on SFc
The pink Taito game is a QUIZ Game, not worth $5,and not interesting at all :)

As told earlier,i do have complete collections such as
Virtual Boy
NGPC Japanese
NGPC UK ( clamshell boxes )
Neo Geo CD ALL factory Sealed
Jaguar &Jaguar CD all Factory Sealed
Lynx ( well i don't hgave ALL homebrew games,just "normal"releases )
Mega CD
Mark 3
Game Gear
Dreamcast
PC Engine Hucard
PC Engine CD/SCD/ACD
PC-FX
Nintendo 64

I DID own until recently COMPLETE Neo GEO Jpn Home Cart collection and game&watch one,but they were too "'worthy" to be kept..i needed money, and i sold those 2..

I think you might have walked into a flamewar with that one. (Genesis pride)

Very, very, very, very, very nice. I have no SFC games. =P

Jesus Christ, man!! Did you have to give over your first born son to Rumpelstilskin to pay for your collection or something? I mean, if having just a complete Megadrive collection wasn't enough already you also have a complete PC Engine library and a nearly complete SFC one, too? How much did all of your collection cost you in total? It must have been big enough to put a down payment on a million dollar house! @_@

SWEET FANCY MOSES.

I'm not easily impressed. Consider this a rare moment :)

I hope you'll add these to your existing Room of Doom page, Adol. Great stuff and congrats on your accomplishment!

Holy cow, that's fucking INSANE. Just how many Super Famicom games were released anyway? All those boxed games must take up a massive amount of space. Hehe, have you even played half of them? :)

The SFC/SNES is my favorite system, so I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven if I had a collection like that. I wouldn't have to buy another game for my whole life; I'm sure that would be enough to keep me occupied for the rest of my life. o_o

Oh well, it may be small, but I'm quite content with my slowly growing collection of complete SFC games, currently at 16. :P

You get mad props from me, man. That's one in-fuggin'-credible collection.

Just how many Super Famicom games were released anyway?

Well over 1000. Probably somewhere in the 1200 area. It was pretty much the dominant system in Japan for the mid-90s, and there were a lot more Super Fami releases than SNES ones (either US or PAL).

as always, adol is da man, LOL i'm still hovering around 300 sfc games, so i have a looooooong way to go. but i decided to only collect stuff i'll play from now on, so i'll probabaly end up with maybe half of what you have there if that...

Sorry to go OT, but is the same adol that is infamous for selling sealed games for $3-400 on ebay?

Rendering Ranger and Metal slider glory are in the last pic
( since "Re" and "Me" are some of the last syllabs in Japanese alphabet )
Rendering Ranger is 16th from the left, just after the 2 Lemmings games,on the 2nd "line" from the bottom,in the last pic

Metal Slider Glory is in the last pic, last line,3rd game from the right...you'll just see "SF Memory cassette"...it is his box, since this game only get a SF Memory Cassette normal box with asticker on it...on side of the box,you can't tell difference with a normal SF Memory Cassette...the 2 games on right of it are unreleased gamùes...SM Games, with sex :)
Few ones were released in Japan..

Macross is on top left corner of the 5th image

Fire Emblem Trakia can't be seen here since i do own the big special package..i can make a pic of it,but well...there is some on Ebay,it is not rare to catch a pic of it :)

As told in the topic, there is 1450 SFC games, but 50 of them are "nintendo power/Nintendo Kiosk" ( call it how you want to ) games, WITHOUT box or instructions, then i don't collect those...only Metal Slider Glory or Fire Emblem Trakia 776 finally got a box&instructions, but not others!
Then 1400 is my goal...i do know exactly what is missing in my collection, since i read japanese and i have full lists of what was released..(Daigirin and MANY other Japanese books )

Yes,i'm the same adol than on Ebay, but i'm not infamous..only jealous people said bad things about me,don't listen to them..if you want to make your opinion, you can speak with me directly,no problem.

I'll have to check, i don't remember the exact name, but it is a SM Game too..

I posted the SFC pics in my album in Game Rooms section,my album is "Andy from France"

I posted there too my complete Virtual Boy JPN collection, my Neo Geo Pocket Color Japanese & UK collections and my 100% complete Japanese Neo Geo CD FACTORY SEALED collection ( Hard to complete, Brikinger & Metal slug 1 are hard to find Factory Sealed those days! )

Since i created this topic talking about Super Famicom, here is another game i own, officially released in 1995 but not in official game lists: Laserbirdie
It is a golf simulation...with a golf club and a ball :) You have a sensor at the end of the club, and you can practice puttings :)

!!!- hey adol- thanks for the laserbirdie pic! that brought back two memories: when i was working at a game shop here, a japanese customer came in to sell some games, and while we took all of the stuff in his box (about 30 sfc games and a console), my boss turned down the laserbirdie (d'oh!) because he had a bunch of TV golf sets he couldn't move. even after i told him it was kind of rare, he still refused it because he didn't want to get stuck with something that he probabaly couldn't sell. oh well...

i had seen two of these previously some years before when i was working as a night dispatcher for a limo company with japanese clients. both were left in the trunk of one of the cars by a drunk client, and the driver bought them up to the office for safekeeping. i still remember the phone call from the still drunk guy at around 6am asking "do you have my laserbirdie? your driver took my laserbirdie!" turns out they were gifts he had picked up in japan for his son and himself. of course, we returned them, lol...

Hi Adol, about the bad thing on ebay, it is probably when you outbid people by ton ;-) I remember you were and probably still pretty active last year on ebay. We have talked a couple of time if you remember. I was not conscious you had that much of system collection (maybe you told me about, but I don't recall it!)

I was wondering... is that guy uber-rich? It sure take time and money to be as active in many system and field. I also noticed you apparently sold some of your collection for money (therefore I suppose if you needed the money, it is that you are not unlimited rich :P). Also... that kind of collection probably take a shitload of place for storage? Can you tell us a bit more about storage, wealth, do you run a business (is it videogames related, is it pimp related? :D). It is pretty interesting too that you read japanese and are active almost everywhere. Congrat on your collection. I also noticed on the french board you posted that people asked for a website. Well do a website with checklist of your knowledge/information/collection will be impressive if well organized too and will be pretty useful to a lot of collectors outta here.
