What are the 15 games you would get for $50 on ebgames?

None.
I would never buy anything used from the EB site because you dont know what the games are going to look like until they arrive.

Even if that weren't an issue, I don't see 15 games on there that are worth getting, or maybe even worth the $50 (imho, that is). There's some decent stuff in there, but not enough to warrant the purchase (again, imho).

That sale is very old and unfortunatly they will not let you pick the above $10 games. It's not a very good deal considering you can get some for less using CAG15, SAVER and an Edge card without having to get 15.

I agree with the above. I found three games in that list that I'd get in a heartbeat.. but that was about it. I think I'd struggle to find 10 more on there to click.

I ordered 2 NES and 1 GBC game from ebgames.com on wednesday with my 10% off EB Edge card, plus 15% off promo, plus free saver shipping. Totaled to under $6. It took 2 days to get to me when the site says 5-10 days for saver shipping. It was very well packaged and the games are in excellent condition.

And if you get something that doesn't work or looks bad (in which case don't open the shrinkwrap, bag or remove the sticker; which ever the case may be) you can take it into an EB Games store along with the packing list they include with your items, and exchange it for something else or the same thing if they happen to have it. I think they'll make an effort to get it for you if you request them to but I'm not sure on that.

It should note that ebgames.com is not a site for collectors. It's a site for cheap ass gamers like me. =) Though I must say that everything I order from them is in great shape and comes exactly like they say it will (and yes saver shipping sometimes only takes 2 days).

Agreed. In my attempts to complete my NES collection (which included a number of dirt common games at the start of the year), I've been using EB extensively. Between the less than attractive cartridge faces and the extremely dirty pins, it's not for everyone. With that said, the majority of the games I've received from them have been in fine cosmetic shape.

Agreed. With the discounts I paid $1.75 for Gyromite with the famicom adapter.

Anyone know any links where you can get an adaptor to play Famicom games on a US NES? I'm trying to look for one. If anyone can help with links, I'd appreciate it. I thought of starting a new thread on this, but this still seems to be on topic since we're still talking about NES titles.

Why not just try ordering a Gyromite? It'll cost you less than $2 and you might get lucky.

they hardly offer any games worth getting in that deal though..so it's not really worth it.

Even if all 15 came mint, no 15 on that list are worth the $50. I cant even find 3 games worth buying, yet alone 15 >_>

In my experience, this actually underestimates the amount of time I've received games in fine cosmetic shape.

I've ordered 20 NES and SNES games from them in the past 6 months and only one of them has had any sort of cosmetic flaw (a sticker - which was easily removed) except perhaps for the EB sticker on them, but that usually comes off easily and Goo Gone easily takes care of that.

Now, some *have* required extensive contact cleaning to get them to work, but if you don't mind just getting a loose cart, I would hearily recommend EBGames.com for NES and SNES.

I agree, i just bought CV2, Commando, and Double Dragon from them and all three appear to be mint.

I honestly believe that only the better looking games get sent to ebgames.com. I could be wrong but that's my theory.
