No, it's not mine, it's Jeff D (jhd7). He's an old school NES collector, and mastermind behind Grand NEStral Station, so you are definitely getting a cared-for rare piece here.
I can confirm that the seal is the same is mine, and I'm 100% sure mine is original.
NES collectors, this is what you've been saving for.

Yep, I've been watching this one. There is no way in hell I will be able to afford it though. Considering the last one on Ebay went for $460+, and it was LOOSE!!! @_@
Who knows how high this one will go.

Wow the seller wants nothing for it. Only $100. What a steal...but I guess...its the last minute that counts. WTF do I know about NES anyways. lol

Well, I put in my token bid, but I don't think I have enough money to put in the kind of snipe that it will take to win this one. :(

I cant think of who you mean at the moment , but I really would like a complete Myriad.... Factory seal means nothing to me :/ I may bid unless another DP member thinks they can nail down the winning bid ;)
Shoot me a PM so we dont get into a bidding war :)

No PayPal accepted. I though thtat scared most people here away from auctions especially higher priced ones.

I can not believe how high that is
But why would you not bid on it so someone else here could try and win it?
Makes no sense especially since this game is hard to find

Simple. Paypal will, if you'll pardon the expression, RAPE HIM if the auction ends at a high price. Which it will. O_o

I guess the people here are nicer than you thought. :)
Although you won't find me doing that on an item that I really want. Let the best (or richest) man win!

Still.. Other payment methods are expencive to use.
Receive Funds Free 1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 USD
I wouldnt call 2.9% (max) RAPE. If it was like 10-15% maybe.
If he sells for $1000 Paypal takes $29. Thats decent. And he can probly make the buyer pay half of the Paypal fee.
Also rememeber, you might lose potential buyers if your not accepting Paypal.

Pa_NES_ian? He's not so much a DPer anymore thou, is he.
$710 for a crappy NES cart @_@
I could see if it were Atari :P

If you Gamer A says Hey I'm going to bid $600 and Gamer B says he is only going to bid $500 then Gamer B has already lost.
If Gamer A and Gamer B are friends then Gamer B can save Gamer A some money by not bidding. Legal? I dunno but it happens all the time.

I don't think it was Panesian, he already has a full NES set (considering he brags about it every chance he gets). LOL
I agree that $710 is insane for a NES game, but I think that paying even $25 for an Atari game is a joke. To each his own.

Maybe.. Didnt think this auction was fake, but just found it strange that a guy with that high feedback didnt accept Paypal.

None of his auctions accept paypal. He probably didn't like the fees, or maybe he's just never tried it.
But yeah with International shipping, you are hanging out on a limb if someone sends you paypal, and then decides to file a chargeback. Most foriegn countries will have unconfirmed addys so you are not covered per paypals seller protection or whatever it's called.
You'd probably want to send it by some sort of expedited mail, like EMS with full insurance & tracking, if you are sending a high dollar package overseas. This would at least give you something to fight paypal with should the buyer file a complaint against you.
@imanerd0011, Panesian did place a bid on this auction though, he's changed his user id, but check the me pages on that one dude there.
I'm curious who antoni732 is? I've seen this user id on quite a few rare games of late, and everything, including NES, Atari, CV, Vectrex.. This anyone from here?

Congrats :) Thats alot of money for 1 game, but see it as an investment. In some years it might be worth the double.

If I recall, I thought one existed. I think Surprise at Dino Peak was the rarest to not have one uncovered yet.

Then certainly that would be reason enough to come out of "retirement" at least momentarily.

Yeah, but not much chance of the owner of the currently-known copy selling - he's resisted some pretty serious offers by a friend of mine in the past.
But yeah, at least one sealed copy of almost everything for the NES has surfaced now. Two black boxes haven't yet, as far as I'm aware, but they will. The two left aren't especially rare - it's just the luck of the draw that they haven't shown up yet. DK math and clu clu have shown up - the rest are pretty much a formality.
As far as that's concerned I'm sure another sealed SE or two will come up sooner or later - it's really just a matter of time. I can think of many examples where in the last two or three years a sealed game has been found for the first time, or where a low sealed population count game has been found again. It just takes patience. And money :/

Hey Bronty-2:
what games are you missing from your collection? Or are you hoping for a sealed collection?
Bronty-2
06-21-2005, 02:50 PM
Slowly working towards a sealed collection, yeah. About 55% of the way there so far, but I do have at least 55% of the rares (probably more).

Damn, and I thought I was ambitious! LOL Good luck on your quest! I'm kinda doing that with SNES, but I've only got about 25 to 30% of it sealed.
