I was hoping someone knew if this version of Morrowind for the XBOX contains the expansions (Tribunal and Bloodmoon)

Nope, I don't believe that does. Only the original GOTY edition on Xbox does, I think.

...That is the GOTYE. So yes, it does.
EDIT- Hmmm... Maybe it isn't. Unless the Platinum Hits version of the GOTYE came without the title. I thought the Platinum Hits version of the original still came in the Brown?

It doesn't help. I'm pretty sure they're putting the original Morrowind release on Platinum, and just using the term "Game Of The Year" to help sell it.
Suck it and see, me thinks.

As if the awe-inspiring open-ended gameplay of the original The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind hadn’t taken up enough of my life, along comes Bethesda Softworks with even more. The updated and upgraded The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition gives you the original game (tweaked in a few places that, frankly, needed it) as well as both PC expansions-all for the almost silly retail price of $29.99. Thanks to the good ol’ Xbox hard drive, you can even take your earlier saved characters from Morrowind and transition them seamlessly into the upgrade. The enormous world of Morrowind just got that much more massive.
What new features first seen in the PC add-ons Tribunal and Bloodmoon hold for Xbox gamers? How exactly is Vvardenfell growing? Are there finally some enemies that can really hurt me, now that I’ve become almost godlike in the main story? Read on, roleplaying fans …

Sorry im dumb today. Although the plat hit should have been updated since the morrowind classics in the Uk is the GOTY version (i think)

I think you're right (I can't be bothered to check, but I think that's right).
But it would be bloody typical if this was the bog-standard Morrowind on Platinum. GameSpot had an article on its release, and they linked to the original release review - and not the GOTY review.
I am sure its not the GOTY release, but they're touting (rightfully) Morrowind as a game of the year.

That's the copy I have and no it's not the GOTY edition. I had to buy that again when it came out.

To add to the confusion, there is a Platinum Hits version of the GOTY edition, so that makes four versions of Morrowind you may see out there.

Or you could just buy the PC version. Better looking and handles better. :P

The Version there seems to me like the original morrowwind without any of the add on's because just how it looks but I've been looking to get the xbox version for a while now with the addon's but get mixed up between that version and the other version and honestly im still not sure which is which.
though I do have the PC version of morrow wind with all the addon's haven't played it yet.

the GOTYE (as in the one with both expansions) will say "Includes content from Bloodmoon & Tribunal)
