Alternate cover of Halo?

I was browsing Ebay and came across an Xbox bundle with a curiously different cover Halo. What do you think of it?

Could it be a demo disk, or if it is the game could it be that the guy lost the original cover and used a demo disk inset? Or didn't Halo come bundled with XBox for a while? It could be that it had a different cover so people couldn't return it to a store and get there 50 bucks back.

Could be Japanese. They have a different Halo cover (though I can't remember what it was exactly).

It is the Japanese cover. (note also the little sticker in the bottom corner has Japanese Text on it)
